My take on the UAE leaving OPEC: "It did not surprise me. I was a member of the UAE Financial Advisory Council (2008-14). At that time, my model for the optimum depletion rates indicated that the UAE should be pumping MORE, not LESS, and that the UAE should ignore OPEC quotas."

And what that means is that all of the problems, not just with the US economy, with the economy of every country in the world, are about to get worse.
