What happens if 2 sperm enter one egg .

Almost always ends in early miscarriage. The egg’s got a solid defense system against this for a reason.

I thought that is the product of identical twins

Who was expecting to hear the two would form twins but was disappointed after the explanation as me?

Normally, once the first sperm fuses with the egg, the egg quickly changes its outer layer to prevent any additional sperm from entering. If two sperm do enter, the resulting embryo usually has an abnormal number of chromosomes (often 69 instead of the normal 46). In humans, such embryos generally cannot develop normally and usually stop developing very early, often resulting in an early miscarriage.

Is that what's called race condition in programming?

Looks disgusting

I don't think that can happen.. the egg's architecture is designed to shut the door for any other sperm once the first one penetrates

This triggered my trypophobia

This is disgusting

So wtf are twins tf

Nature is beautiful 😍❤️

This is gross.

And they say there’s no God

Wow, absolutely beautiful to watch

As células de um ser humano só podem ter 46 cromossomos. 23 do óvulo, 23 do espermatozoide. Se entrarem 2 espermatozoides, o “embrião” teria 69 cromossomos. Totalmente incompatível c a vida.

We've always been told that fertilization is a race won by the fastest sperm. But science shows the egg isn't passive: it releases chemical signals that attract certain sperm more than others and can even block or favor fusion. So it's not just about speed, but also about selection.

2 different sperms have entered my wife

even biology has messy group chats

Double fertilisation usually means an unsustainable embryo. Nature's way of saying don't overdo it.

Change that to shit and you've got barry and mike.

I thought u just had to fight the sperm youre with to the death to take the spot 😭😭

This is such a clean animation of polyspermy. In humans it almost always produces a triploid zygote (69 chromosomes) that either miscarries very early or develops into a non-viable molar pregnancy. Nature’s “one sperm only” block is no joke. Also… that zona hardening moment is pure biological badassery.

سبحان الله

What a big deal two at once 😂

This feels so invasive iwl 😭🤚🏽

Teorim çok basit. İki tane girerse ikiz, üç girerse üçüz vs... 😉

Twin baby comes if two superm enter in one egg

Debí de quedarme ahí, bien atras

I don’t think that’s how it works. Once the first sperm successfully fertilizes the egg, the egg triggers changes that prevent other sperm from getting in. Biology really does have a built-in “door closed” system.

なるほど人間はこのように産まれて来るんだね。

How my ranked teammates were conceived;

Really what happens !!! Anyone please explain

All the drawing for inside stomach?

Dispermi / triploidi
