what if scrollbars were less boring...

> try it out! > github:

also shoutout @joshpuckett's goated dialkit for tuning :)

Would be cool if it could show where people re-read (like the YouTube scrub bar heatmap)

wait yeah that would be rly cool to track!!!

What if pages themselves were less boring..

would be cool to configure the scrollbar to show (a) where you currently are, (b) the areas of highest love/hate, or (c) the spiciest sections

yes lemme try that!!!

very satisfying

😁😁😁thanks thomas!!!

Looks cool, but it could coexist with the native scrollbar.

I thought ChatGPT already designed it ? 🤔

@dioggueira i took inspiration but i wanted something that indicated you could scroll before transitioning into the positioning

was halfway through typing up a design fundamentals course in this reply box before seeing you're just 18 keep grindin just don't forget that the best design is as little design as possible

Making scrollbars feel fresh. Love this! 🔥

Lorem Ipsum

Nice

don't you think the scroll bars are catching more attention than required, like distracting the readers from the main content

love this effect

I like that it stays quiet until you scroll. Being able to jump to a paragraph is nice too — and the color that appears when you hover a point.

🔥🔥

thx goat 🙏

Bro, it takes the color of my cursor🔥

Really great bro

Looks cool! Browser extension?

Don’t fuck with user scroll!
