@FryRsquared @DrewPurves Wow, Being able to understand what another intelligent species is saying could be a moment of awakening for humanity! For those who want to quickly "read" the video, check out this nio:

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves 'Accurate simulations of environment' 🤔 At what scale? The environment is an open system. I mean, the weather is difficult enough to predict. Interesting if true...

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves This could be one of the most meaningful uses of AI, helping to protect the world we live in.

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves It is a ”frame problem” of fitting the nature to the model (e.g. GIS). Maps are just cognitive simplifications as is symbolic AI. Animals, plants and the environment are neither logical nor mathematical. Nothing in symbolic AI today can accurately simulate their interactions.

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves Alpha for the planet

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves @GoogleDeepMind, ai offers a promising lens to foresee ecological shifts and foster better solutions.

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves Sooo many fingers in so many pies

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves oooo interesting

@FryRsquared @DrewPurves Have seen all the interviwes from the google deepmind podcast and from her alon and sadently this is the only very very bad interview from Professor Hannah Fry... had to happen at least once. The only advice is to choose better the people in the show...
