what if you could navigate unicode characters by visual similarity?

this would be so useful for ascii art, especially if you could type in a character to get as the starting point so if you typed `d' it would show you `/', `j', `6', etc

@alienpisscrack This could actually be incredibly useful for site moderation! This way, you can deduce lookalike characters, often used to bypass filters. Can you enlighten me on how you compare the characters to each other and discover lookalikes?

Idea: first scope, then explore. Start with a small subset (15-20?) that semantically covers the broad categories of Unicode characters. User picks closest to what they’re looking for, iterating to “bottom level”, and from there explore variations laterally.
