@MushirMickeyJoe We call them NPC (non playable character) and they walk around using Path Finding Not ai. If anything they are closer to bots than AI.

Not sure how I feel with this one.. AI mods tend to break first with updates in other games. Made by humans but in the video says AI confused 😅 Curious but wary.. Also server doesn't that mean it needs WiFi?😵‍💫

@gmodeone @Jadenfire Basically, “AI” in video games doesn’t necessarily mean generative AI like Chatgpt. It can just mean programmed behavior that makes characters react and act on their own.

@gmodeone @Jadenfire (I.E), Minecraft mobs use the “old-school game AI”. They’re programmed to wander around, detect players, attack, flee, follow things, etc. The creator is saying these “AI Players” are human-made characters that use that same kind of traditional AI. That’s all.

Can you call them "bot players" or something similar? The concept is super cute but using "AI" as a term does not look good and sets a bad precedent even if it is not technically incorrect

this is what servers are gonna be using to make their servers seem more popular then they really are how realistic are these even? before you know it kids are gonna be on servers making friends and find out after months that the person they were playing with a fake player
