Joe Carter's 1993 World Series-winning bat from SkyDome in Toronto is in Cooperstown. Canadian history, but in another country where the ultimate shrine to the game is located. As it should be.

The White House is part of Canadian history; should it not be in Canada?

Give us Joe Carter's bat and you can have the puck. Not like you guys actually care about it anyway, lol

Guy wants to put a puck from the game in the SMITHSONIAN acting like they've never won a game before in their lives and never will again that generations need to come and see this once in a national history relic like it landed on the moon insane

Likely, the IOC, IIHF and HHOF had an agreement in place for the items to be on display in Toronto after the Games ended.

Should be in the USA

I would argue that anyone that cares enough to plan travel just to see this puck would probably rather see it at the hockey hall of fame. It's the best place for it, aside from Hughes' trophy case.

“Among other things” Which includes Megan Keller’s gold medal winning puck. 🤣🤣 But Darren only makes a big deal about the Hughes puck.

The only argument you could make is to display it at the US Hockey Hall of Fame. Does anyone know where it's located without looking it up? Probably not. The HHOF in Toronto is the correct spot to display it.

All items of importance go to the @HockeyHallFame (partnered with the @NHL, @iocmedia and IIHF) first. It likely will go to the US HOF soon. Rather than some greedy collectors buying/selling it for profit over pride.
