Yellow isn't only for NRM. It's the official uniform of the married women in the Catholic church. Hope I was of help!

The yellow is just a colour on apparel. Probably, a church choir chose it something - it is also one of the colours of the catholic church. I guess nothing to do with NRMilitary regime.
