It’s the only suturing technique I ever used in ED for 5 years. I have no idea what it was called.

Simple interrupted. Used another type of suture once and this for all others .

Much better than staples, at least in my opinion. A wound in my scalp healed painfully as staples pulled hair over time as the wound healed. I'd like to ask if there is a protocol for when staples are used versus stitches.
