One of the things that makes honey badgers escape many animals is its loose skin. Once its attacker bites on part of its body, the honey badger would turn in its loose skin and bite the attacker. In the case of crocodiles though, once a crocodile gets a good grip of a honey badger, there's no escape. Their jaw is wide enough and they have enough grip to hold the badger in place till it dies, at least.

Wondering if you are “quad dominant” in your throw and if you should change it? Maybe you shouldn’t 🤷‍♂️ A coach’s post coming from Austin Roark 🚀⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ One question I get from a lot of athletes is whether they should change their lower half because their knee is over their toe during their loading phase down the mound. ⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ The biggest thing that I look for when trying to figure out if it is an issue or not is to see how they are able to get out of that position. Some guys are able to leverage and rotate from that position extremely well, which then I would say that it’s not an issue.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ On the other hand, there are some guys who will get out of this position by driving extension out of their back leg, killing their ability to rotate their pelvis and get it in an open position into landing.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ This is when I would suggest trying to make a change. I think a lot of people jump into certain ideologies that you shouldn’t do certain things because it’s “inefficient” or it looks “wrong”. ⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ Take a look at these pitchers shown in the video. All 3 of these high level arms have some degree of knee flexion over their toe. Now, granted, they all have insane levers to help them, but the way they are moving is what makes them efficient in how they throw. ⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ I think if you told Dustin May that he had to hold a vertical shin down the mound, it would be a disaster and mess a lot of things up upstream that would impact him in a negative way.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ The big takeaway here is that there are no absolutes. One thing that may look inefficient to you could be the thing that makes someone else very efficient.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ When trying to figure out if you should change something about someone's delivery, make sure to look at the entire unit as a whole and don’t jump into any quick changes.

It's important to know that the Thing which is sometimes called a "camel spider" is better called a solpugid or solifugid. It's not a spider at all. It has no venom glands, and kills prey by crunching them up with their massive jaws (the most powerful for their size of any animal). A really big one can nip you, and probably draw blood if you let it hang on long enough. But no venom of any sort. They just look super scary. I kept one as a pet for a while but it was a pretty terrible pet because all it wanted to do was escape the terrarium 24/7. Spiders, scorpions, and mantises are way more chill.

The Australian government does not deserve our trust, or our respect. Today, Minister Penny Wong sat back in her chair grappling for words, desperately looking for the right lie to tell. It is worse than dishonest - it is an absolute lack of care. Penny Wong came to this country when she was 8 years old. She came to a country that afforded her the ability to become who she is, and she is now doing her part to destroy it. Back in the 70’s, when she came, Australia was a fair-minded place and a great place to be. Yet here she is... Here in Australia. Undermining our country and lying to our faces. Because she can’t tell the truth. Because if she did, it would destroy any semblance of care for Australia tied to her old party’s Labor brand. It would say the quiet part out loud. The truth. The truth that the Albanese government is more interested in the fortunes of the ISIS brides, women who chose to leave this country to go and fight against our people, than those of us that can’t find or afford a place to live here at home. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less. People that are elected and paid to operate in the national interest but always put their twisted ethics and back pockets ahead of our nation and our people. I don’t know when Labor stopped caring about Australian workers or worse, when they started hating Australia, but they have and they do. The absolute lack of opposition, the lack of authentic choice has pushed us into a place where these absolute traitors to the interests of the people who pay them - goes entirely unchecked. We are careening out of control, unchecked migration, an energy grid that is just about to collapse, no industry to speak of, and no good reason to start or maintain a business in this place. It happened fast, but those of us who pay our taxes and take risks to make Australia a better place, are being undermined and white-anted by our politicians. The people we are forced to trust, and must pretend to respect, because they have the force of law on their side. Not because they are any good at their jobs. Not because they have earned our affection. No. Simply because they are in charge and there is little to nothing that can be done about it. It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.

I don’t know if it’s courage, a desperate hope, a fight for justice, or simply the struggle to survive, but what I do know is that it’s painful. Painful even to witness. Watching your own people like this,broken, silenced, grieving, shakes something deep inside you. It compels you to speak out, to risk your career, and to stand up for justice when silence is no longer an option. Baloch mothers and sisters carry the weight of generational grief. And it is the state that has burdened them with this pain. The families protesting in Islamabad are being punished not for any crime, but for refusing to give up. For still daring to hope. Their lives have been shattered. Justice denied in courtrooms. Dreams torn apart. Every breath is a battle for dignity. The few who dared to speak for them have been thrown behind bars. Their families are being targeted. Harassment and intimidation are at their peak. Yet they still came to Islamabad….to protest, to resist, to be seen. And what did they face? Threats. Silence. Erasure. They were not even allowed to set up camp under the punishing rain and scorching heat. The press club was fenced off to block their voices. Floodwater And a Frightened Little Girl 🥹 She probably doesn't even understand right now why everything suddenly became so scary. For her, all that matters is that the world around her has changed her home, her family, her surroundings. The political establishment in Australia is not entirely stupid, they just think you are. As they lament the rise of One Nation, they pretend they don't understand it. Because if they showed us that they understand the resons, they then have to make a major admission. Hanson's rise is all their fault. Because the major parties and the faux independents have been on a unity ticket on all of the big problems they have jointly caused for decades. They can’t hide from the messes they have caused, so now they want to blame everyone else but themselves. Today, on ABC’s Insiders, Annabel Crab belled the cat, as Karvelas did the two step crab walk. Annabel correctly diagnoses the political situation here right now. It is not a love for Hanson, or One Nation that is causing the surge, but a total lack of faith in the other offerings. It almost does not matter what Hanson says or does, because her greatest strengths are that she is there, and she is not one of them. Those are enduring traits and the more the major parties hit her, the more the media carry on about her, and the more the establishment present her as a “deplorable”, the more people they will push in her direction. It is like they are in quicksand... the more they struggle, the deeper they sink. People are growing ready for wild political change. A worsening economy and a growing collapse in social cohesion has put the nation on edge. The big end of town want to pretend everything will be fine when the latest special envoy delivers their newest report, but nothing changes. Nothing changes because nothing is supposed to change. Because the government, the opposition and their Green Teal cheer squads want things just the way they are. They didn’t just pass all of the enabling legislation for no reason. There are real beneficiaries of these things, it is just that none of the beneficiaries are the Australian people. Australians have broadly been the target of the changes made to benefit foreign interests, the political class and major corporations. We have been targeted for so long it is impossible not to feel the cross-hairs of the scope resting on our forehead. Hanson and her team simply have to talk about that feeling... they don’t even have to have a solution. Because when the establishment continues to pretend the problems don't exist, just acknowledging the pain is enough to earn a vote. Annabel nails this sentiment in just a few words. Right as Karvelas changes the subject, because it is not that this isn’t obvious, it is because Karvelas is there to cover it up, and hit Hanson’s credibility again. Fuelling the vicious cycle of the rise of the outsider. Unless something significant changes in the establishment, and I don’t expect it will, there will be major upheaval at the next election. Most people will not be voting for their favourite party or person, they will primarily be voting against the status quo, because in their minds, it could not possibly be worse than what we have experienced for decades... but it just might be a little bit better. And that is a risk worth taking. After all most of us like a punt. I just want Australia back.

This shot from Ridlgan's own propaganda video shows is what the vivisection industry calls the "gold standard" in animal care: a lifetime of confinement in a 2 x 4 cage (sometimes 2 x 8, as in this shot, when they remove the barriers between cages), followed up by summary execution after you are no longer producing enough pups. Notice the multiple dogs pacing back and forth. This is what ethologists call "stereotypic behavior" — psychotic behavior driven by the need to reduce stress. It happens to animals when they are confined in a cage for many hours, but the dogs at Ridglan are confined, and never step outside, for YEARS. I want to emphasize again that this is from Ridlgan's own PR video. They have unlimited access to their own facility and dogs, and this is the best clip they could find. What does that say about what it looks like when the cameras are NOT rolling? We need to get these dogs out. They are all going to be killed off or sent to experiments by July. And if you are an animal lover, we need your help.

But really. This is overwhelming. I can’t imagine what that must feel like. 50k is no small number. And that’s from one city. I completely understand yoongi crying back then bc of how big bts was getting. This type of pressure could crush anyone if they didn’t have the right support system. And we have seen this happen with a lot of artists. Just collapsing under the pressures of their fame and global reach. It’s what’s makes bts stand out I think. It’s the way they’re constantly and acutely aware of their impact. Humility runs in their veins. And never once have they ever taken even 1% of this global level phenomenon for granted. It’s so easy to get swept up in this type of power. So easy. We’ve seen empires fall bc of something like this. But BTS are just built different. They surround themselves and each other with unwavering support. They don’t fall complacent. Don’t let fame dampen their passion. They’ve never lost sight of what’s important. Never taken advantage of the love their fans have to give them. It’s why they feel different. It’s why their success feels monumental. It’s why people will always want to replicate everything about who they are or where they came from and their story of how they reached the top. Bc they think bts cracked the “formula” towards success. But there is no formula. No “science” behind it. Just an unexplainable truth that there are certain things in this world that come around but once in a lifetime. BTS are one of those things. Their groundbreaking success has no secret. No shortcuts. Just 7 separate lives that lined up perfectly on that one fateful day. That’s it. And the rest is Bangtan history.

I completely understand yoongi crying back then bc of how big bts was getting. This type of pressure could crush anyone if they didn’t have the right support system. And we have seen this happen with a lot of artists. Just collapsing under the pressures of their fame and global reach. It’s what’s makes bts stand out I think. It’s the way they’re constantly and acutely aware of their impact. Humility runs in their veins. And never once have they ever taken even 1% of this global level phenomenon for granted. It’s so easy to get swept up in this type of power. So easy. We’ve seen empires fall bc of something like this. But BTS are just built different. From a distance, this figure seems to be wearing a robe draped over his shoulders. Step closer, and you realize it is not a robe. It's his own skin... This is the statue of Saint Bartholomew, carved in 1562 by the Lombard sculptor Marco d'Agrate, and it stands inside the Duomo of Milan. Bartholomew was one of the twelve apostles of Christ, and according to tradition he was martyred in the cruelest way imaginable: he was flayed alive, his skin stripped from his body, and then beheaded. D'Agrate chose to show him not in the moment of agony, but afterward, standing upright in defiance, his own flayed skin wrapped around him like a garment. What makes the sculpture extraordinary is the precision beneath that skin: every muscle, every tendon, every vein and cord of the human body is exposed and rendered with such accuracy that anatomists have studied it. This was the Renaissance at its most fearless, when the same curiosity that drove artists to dissect the human body in secret produced an image of a man turned inside out, his suffering transformed into a study of how a human being is actually made. And the sculptor knew exactly how remarkable his achievement was. At the base of the statue he carved a line in Latin that has outlived him by nearly five centuries: Non me Praxiteles, sed Marcus finxit Agrates. This driver is trying to ma a left turn and the car on the opposite side stops and makes a path for them to turn. As the car starts to turn, an electric bike in the bike lane comes speeding down and well, as you can see, smashes into the car and flips over the front. Luckily he gets up and is walking. He could have been seriously injured. To me, this is quite literally why they say you’re not supposed to just stop in the middle of a street to let someone turn. Some are saying it’s the red car’s fault for stopping and letting the driver turn. Others are saying in their state, an electric bike is like a motorcycle and has to obey the traffic laws. Who is at fault? Do you think the electric bike should have been in the bike lane traveling that fast? The red car for letting the car turn left when it can’t see, or is it the drivers responsibility to make sure all is clear before proceeding?

This is something all Indians must understand leaving behind politics and ideologies: The massive boom in India's infrastructure in the last 10 years is undeniable. Be it highways, border roads, airports, trains, metros, or ports - there's a 100-300% increase compared to before. No joke. I have not seen this level of development and building for decades before. Projects are not just announced but are actually being completed and inaugurated. When you have this much infrastructure being built by thousands of contractors and companies, there will always be some issues come up. From bad quality here and there to delays in some. It happens in every country. Even in the most developed and advanced ones like the very large US or very small Singapore. They too have leaking metro stations, roads that cave in, bridges that break, and trains that breakdown. But only for India, there's a coordinated communist campaign being run online to blackpill Indians by lifting every issue around the large country, amplifying it as the worst that only happens in India, to destroy the credibility of India's development and government. If you suddenly start building 100,000 kms of highways, using thousands of contractors and hundreds of companies, yes there will be a few kms of bad patch somewhere or a bad contractor doing a shoddy job. Yet, that is being taken and amplified online to disillusion Indians about their own democracy, destroy their confidence, and derail India's development using their disillusionment. They are made to believe and say "Everything is bad, everything is corrupt." This is being done in a coordinated way targeting India's youth primarily. Because the adversaries know India's youth have no past experience to judge. And they are the ones who will take India to the future. They can be easily programmed showing only the glitzy images of Shangai & Shenzen to make them feel sad about their cities. They know by disillusioning them, and destroying their confidence, India's development can be arrested for a long time. If you as an older adult understand this and the significance of the current infrastructure boom for the future, it is your responsibility to inform at least a few of the people you know offline about what's going on. It's OK you get challenged, ridiculed, or even abused. Because we know the mental programming and blackpilling is that much these days. Yet, it is important to try make them understand for India's sake.

Pauline Hanson is now the preferred Prime Minister, as the establishment reels in shock. They did it to themselves. First the Liberals, and now Labor. They followed each other down the path to oblivion. There’s an old saying, “you have two ears and one mouth”, a sign that you should listen twice as much as you speak. But instead, the establishment just preached at us. They shamed and attacked us. They forgot us, and worse, ignored us completely. They gave each other jobs and titles as they pretended we admired them as much as they admire themselves. The establishment misread the rise of the Teals as a total rejection of social conservativism and personal ambition. Of a detest for masculinity and the total embrace of the politics of climate and mass immigration. But it wasn’t that. It was a frustration with the status-quo; an anger at the captured Liberal establishment, which made them almost indistinguishable from Labor. Albanese’s great appeal was that he was not Morrison, and Dutton actually looked somehow less prepared. But it was never a great embrace. It was more of a, “well I guess it’s you then”. Labor don’t really have a mandate for change, but they are convinced that Australians are a bunch of jealous fools that are too stupid to see the total erosion of our freedoms and way of life. Those in power are too blind to notice that everything they talk about and touch has set us backwards. But we see them. Albanese is just about the most inarticulate and incompetent Prime Minister we’ve ever had, and his vision for Australia does not extend beyond his comfortable, taxpayer funded retirement on the beach. The self-interest of the establishment is at record levels, and rather than listen, adapt and fix the problems they've caused, they just double down. And double down again. Both sides have grown transactional and prefer to shoot their messengers. They expel and slander those who have tried to do the right thing over the last decade, and now both sides are left with a talentless pool of transactional twits. There is not a capable government to be formed between them, and their time is up. I don’t think it will matter what Pauline Hanson says or does between now and the election, her popularity will continue to climb as she looks less and less like them… and they panic their way into helping her do that. The public have had enough, and Hanson is their pathway to showing the world that the Australian establishment is done. This is the beginning of a long journey to a more informed electorate and a better government. It has begun. We are going to get Australia back.

There is a state park by me that closes when the sun goes down for safety reasons. I always see people find a way in there to do what they need to do. No matter what they do mayor be add a gate or even have more law enforcement, there’s no stopping it. These people are sitting in their car. They see people walking in and out of the woods while they are sitting there eating and chatting. The people going in and out look so out of place, like they are in a zombie apocalypse. If I saw people just struggling in and out of the woods, looking dirty, no flashlights at all. I would think they are up to something. Especially for the hikers making their way back and hearing rumbling and voices I would be creeped out too.
