There is a state park by me that closes when the sun goes down for safety reasons. I always see people find a way in there to do what they need to do. No matter what they do mayor be add a gate or even have more law enforcement, there’s no stopping it. These people are sitting in their car. They see people walking in and out of the woods while they are sitting there eating and chatting. The people going in and out look so out of place, like they are in a zombie apocalypse. If I saw people just struggling in and out of the woods, looking dirty, no flashlights at all. I would think they are up to something. Especially for the hikers making their way back and hearing rumbling and voices I would be creeped out too.

I asked Leslie Iwerks about her favorite scene in 'Disneyland Handcrafted,' and she pointed to a moment showing workers pulling the Mark Twain that captures both the difficulty of building Disneyland and Walt's determination to make it happen. "My favorite scene is the guys pulling the Mark Twain. Who knows exactly what the issue was, but they were all trying to pull it, and it's a little symbolic scene of just how hard it was and how hard they worked and their teamwork. Also the fact that they were up against all odds. Everyone doubted this could happen, but they were all saying it was an exciting time because Walt willed it to happen. He told everybody it could happen and that they had never done this before, but they could do it. And so it all gave them confidence that they could pull it off, and they all mobilized under Walt's singular vision to get it done. And I think that scene to me is emotional to me because I just feel like it symbolizes the teamwork."

The problem with defensive awareness is that most players watch basketball like this... They only follow the ball. They watch it like a fan and not to get better. Which is unfortunately what highlights, mixtapes, and short clips ingrain the habit to be. Then when they step on the floor, no wonder they can't see the ball and their man, let alone everything else - they've only focused on one thing at a time. The Norwegians are about 5 million. They just won against Brazil in the football World Cup. They have Erling Haaland – the football prodigy. They have Magnus Carlsen – the chess prodigy. They have this guy who sprints uphill on skis and already won 11 Olympic gold medals. What do they know that we don’t? Is it just that they know that talent is not a threat to equality? A nation of five million cannot afford to punish its best for being best. It can only afford to demand more from them, and get out of the way. They are simply the ones who never built a system whose purpose was to make sure no one stood out.

“Just a reminder that people won’t be able to go to the store and feed their kids this month. They won’t be able to get what they need let alone want.” Here’s my reminder to you that these people are not necessarily getting what they need, they are getting what they want. And another reminder that it should not be the responsibility of the American taxpayer to pay to feed your children when you are enable body to dull, who can go get a job and take care of your own babies. Step up and do better.

You're right. Here's a malinoise in action. They need to be stimulated regularly. That's one thing some people don't know yet. They get dogs because they have the money and they like it. One of the things they don't consider is the energy level of the dog. If you know you won't have time to keep them trained and engaged, it's better to get low energy dogs.

This shot from Ridlgan's own propaganda video shows is what the vivisection industry calls the "gold standard" in animal care: a lifetime of confinement in a 2 x 4 cage (sometimes 2 x 8, as in this shot, when they remove the barriers between cages), followed up by summary execution after you are no longer producing enough pups. Notice the multiple dogs pacing back and forth. This is what ethologists call "stereotypic behavior" — psychotic behavior driven by the need to reduce stress. It happens to animals when they are confined in a cage for many hours, but the dogs at Ridglan are confined, and never step outside, for YEARS. I want to emphasize again that this is from Ridlgan's own PR video. They have unlimited access to their own facility and dogs, and this is the best clip they could find. What does that say about what it looks like when the cameras are NOT rolling? We need to get these dogs out. They are all going to be killed off or sent to experiments by July. On foot, in the open air, with time to reflect on what you are about to do. The modern temple experience has been engineered for convenience. The parking lot is right there. The locker room is right there. The session begins at a posted time and ends at a posted time and you are out and on with your day. This convenience is mercy. The Brethren have made the temple accessible to a busy people, and the accessibility is itself a gift. But the convenience has cost us something. The early Saints walked. They walked from Far West to Kirtland for the dedication. They walked from Nauvoo to the unfinished temple on the hill. They walked from their wagon trains to the Endowment House in the valley. The walking was preparation. By the time they crossed the threshold, they had already left the world behind in their bodies, in their feet, in their breath. They arrived primed for the encounter.
