Thank you. My son has a severe physical disability and has attended public school since kindergarten. The opportunities he has been given are amazing. FAPE means that he has had the same education as able bodied students. He’s now in 11th grade And preparing for college.

@EducationMN Per pupil spending has skyrocketed and yet the public schools are failing out children. There would be no reason to leave except for the failures of public schools.

Thank you. Louisville is home to the phrase "school choice". In Meredith v. JCPS, a mom complained she could not choose the elementary school next to her home. Now, Louisville has "choice zones", choice of magnet schools, and an independent public school system. They took the phrase because people like what we are doing.
