We raise our voices with full strength to demand immediate action and accountability against anyone involved in this blatant act of religious disrespect. Islam is a religion of peace, dignity, and respect. Muslims do not mock or belittle the sacred practices of any faith and we expect the same in return. Turning Islamic symbols, acts of worship, or sacred spaces into objects of mockery is a serious offense that cannot be ignored or tolerated. We call on authorities, human rights organizations, and leaders of all faiths to stand firmly against this rising trend of disrespect toward Islam. Protecting religious sanctity is not optional, it is a duty and a global responsibility. Our faith deserves respect. Our sacred practices deserve protection. And we demand justice.

Nobody is really watching The Kerala Story. It shows that the majority of people in this country understand what Kerala is and appreciate its traditions and culture. Movies, TV, and the media have been weaponised. They are being used precisely to vilify people, to alienate communities, and to create divisions in society so that certain groups can benefit while others are harmed. I think India has increasingly started to look like that. If a person wants to make a certain type of film, say something in the media, or defend particular ideas, they are attacked and often not allowed to speak. I experience this all the time. On the other hand, certain narratives can be spread and propagated as much as people want, and nothing happens to them. This is extremely damaging for the country. And it is happening a lot. This is exactly what Khomeini meant by “exporting Islam.” The very same slogans that were spread worldwide after the 1979 revolution by Khomeini and his regime were chanted yesterday in Brussels: “Death to America, labbayk ya Hossein!” Now slogans such as “labbayk ya Nasrallah” are being heard in the heart of Europe. This means that people are presenting themselves as followers of Nasrallah and intend to follow his path, now here in Europe. They were not many, around a hundred people gathered yesterday in front of the U.S. embassy to whitewash the crimes of the Islamic Republic through “victimhood rhetoric.” The Western world, which allows them this space to showcase themselves, must realize that if they are not stopped now, they will do to the West what they did to our Iran. In Islamic tradition, mourners are supposed to follow the body, gather around it, and face it directly, turning your back is considered extremely disrespectful. You’ve seen how they all circle the Kaaba in Mecca. This looks like a heavily AI-edited photo. If it’s proven fake, the Financial Times needs to issue a full public apology for running straight-up propaganda and lying to their readers.
