When I was hospitalized a few years ago I had to have all my food brought in. I had a juice brought up but even that had artificial flavor in it. Our healthcare systems are all supplied by four to five companies and it is all slop.

The health sector in the US always seem to be about the monetary aspect and never actually about the 'helping people' aspect.

Hospitals sell "food" that doesn't even satisfy the literal definition of food. They do sell "food" that satisfies the definition of a poison, however.

Why are you surprised? Most doctors know nothing about nutrition. I battled stage 4 cancer for 2 years and none of the doctors said anything about nutrition except one to told me to eat lots of beef.

This is exactly why I don't go to the doctor. Lifestyle + diet are what keep you healthy!

I will put money on this that this isn't ran by u of a i do believe that it's sodexo, Aramark, or some other food vendor. Every major university has sold their food operations to a third party.

Spent five months in the hospital in 2023… the diet they provided was abysmal. Thankfully I had my mom to bring me outside food 🤙

My local VA hospital is the exact same. Fat nurses and doctors, all of them. Then when I asked for something with meat, “We have chicken fingers”. People with metabolic issues being wheeled in there and getting donuts made me do a double take.

I don’t see any real food here. To be honest, it is pretty difficult to buy any decent quality food without purposefully looking for and pay a premium in America.

Even more shocking is to see what you can buy in British hospital, I was working in hospital for a while they had burger King, water was more expensive than coca cola 😂

The medical system can't make money off people who eat healthy and take care of their bodies. The system is like a parasite that needs to be fed. It likes to keep people sick and caught up in the system. It has never been about healing. Functional Medicine is the way.

In Switzerland we have healthy food in our hospitals.

Dude expects 5 star meals at a gas station.
