"what time is the debate" query on google is a deep commentary on state of internet .. most obvious one box ever answer, but instead pages and pages of SEO optimized crap that hides the answer you obviously want

So funny I googled this earlier today and had this exact thought/moment … like wtf are we doing here?

Took me all of 20 seconds to pull up Perplexity Pro voice search, ask it the same question as if I was asking a person, and received a 100% accurate result. Google Search is a deeply flawed product. Sure it’s a cash cow, but not longer user centric.

Just said the same exact thing after giving up and going to chatgpt

So wild that they don’t default to their AI answer here. I get that on nearly every search except this one.
