While the MD80 has a special place in my heart as it was an unique aircraft, I prefer the A320 family to the MD80 due to the noise in the back.. While improvements are made in terms of noise, I think placing the engines underneath the wings is better for the pax (in the back)..

Embraer is flirting with a turboprop design too. I am curious to see if anyone actually builds one. It would be more cost effective than a jet. Jet engines have gotten very fuel efficient, but turboprops still have the advantage.

What technology 🙄🙄 airbus make planes for airlines to make money from! Cramp up as many people in a single aisle plane and send them as far as they can and to cut the cost per seat!
