I am a dude…but finding out the hard way that your spouse CHEATED on you while you were “BUSY DEFENDING OUR NATION!!!”—has some similarities…this is what I can say for myself…you do have to forgive her…NOT BECAUSE OF EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION!!!!—but because AS YOU MOVE FORWARD—you are young—CARRYING THE HURT AND BAGGAGE OF THIS WICKEDNESS WILL ONLY PISION THE GOOD FUTURE YOU HAVE AHEAD OF YOU—IF NOT—YOU WILL PUSH AWAY EVERYTHING YOU TRULY DESIRE—BECAUSE OF BEING JADDED—BEST ADVISE—SEEK CHRIST—ONLY HE CAN HEAL THAT DEEP OF A WOUND…Praying for ya!!!—HE REPLACED ALL I LOST…then some…

I hate to give advise in such a personal matter…. But, to MOST people this kind of betrayal would be almost impossible to forgive, never mind the forget part, soon you’ll have a daily reminder running around. Further more, he’ll probably default back to her (availability) and you don’t need that around you all the time!

Tell them all to kick rocks. Absolutely dont take shit from any of them. Forgiveness is one thing, having them rub it in your face for the rest of your life. No thank you

WtAF! That is crazy! If your family's not going to go ahead and support you in the fact that you were cheated on and the ultimately horrible betrayal of your sister there's even a bigger betrayal of your your parents your family and everybody that's saying you need to forgive the little sister. That's total BS no way no no sir no ma'am

You can forgive them, it takes a while. You don’t have to ever look at them ever again. Perfectly fine. Definitely find a real family ✨🥰

Wow! I'm surprised you look so calm and you're so articulate! I can't imagine the trauma of losing everybody I mean EVERYBODY in your life! You're obviously the only emotionally rational person in your entire family, if I were you I would run and never look back

Yes forgive but don't forget. You forgive to free yourself from all the bad feelings. The ashes come off you and are placed on the heads of those that betrayed you. God bless you to lift your spirit and make you whole again.

The child support laws don't work that way. Your ex-husband is going to be financially responsible for anything between 19 and 23 years so he doesn't escape. He'll probably be losing a little less than 20% of his gross income.

Terrible, horrible sibling and husband; they deserve each other, and shame on your folks who are making you choose to accept or lose your entire family! I hope you ditch them all until your parents come to their senses and apologize to you, but I'd lose the other 2 permanently.

genuinely so proud you aren’t letting them bully you. i’m sorry you need to be this strong. it’s nefarious no one is trying to be there for you. this is so beyond hateful and cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

Someday you’ll have to forgive her to go to heaven! It’s a spiritual thing. It took me 8 years to forgive my brother for just not being nice! But, I read in the Bible that you must forgive to be forgiven… So, I suggest you express your anger and forgive her in 10 years or so! 😂

You don’t need to go. No group discussion will fix this, it’s not OK to push you into “poker face” forgiveness through intervention. Forgiveness is for you. Not for them. The ultimatum is emotional manipulation. You will find your inner peace and forgiveness when you are ready

Just concentrate on your healing. I can't imagine what you're going through right now. If you're falling can not understand that you're sister ruined your marriage and your also hurting and you need time to heal, then they can stay away.

They both betrayed you, and how you found out was about as bad a way as you could, I wouldn’t want either of them in my life either, there is no silver lining or even close, family telling your to get over it are more people that I wouldn’t want to deal with

Also your family has a problem with boundaries. Learn from this. Go find your happiness. Think of it as something spiritual that needs to end with you ending that. Life is about lessons. Not fun. I know.

You can forgive without reconciling with her. In fact that’s what you should do because bitterness will only fester and end up hurting yourself. It’s like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. But I agree you shouldn’t reconcile unless she demonstrates remorse

How are you supposed to look at that kid all the time knowing that's the baby of the man you married? I think your family is being unreasonable. If anything they should be there for both of you separately and respect how you feel.

This isn’t a new situation in the human condition. Humans are crappy people. You will learn to forgive or you will become bitter and suffer from it, plus Jesus commanded us to forgive so that we can be forgiven. True story. About 55 years ago, my mom’s cousin had cancer. During recovery, my mom’s sister (my aunt) had an affair with my mom’s cousin’s husband. She got pregnant. Nobody knew about the pregnancy, except my family. Until years later. When all of the adults realized that the sibling cousins looked more alike than the other cousins. My Aunt told my cousin the truth about the affair. The news was well received by the adult children. My mom’s cousin already knew about it. Her husband had cheated on her so many times that they divorced decades ago. She and my aunt mended their relationship decades ago. Blood is thicker than water. She knew that her husband had manipulated my aunt into having an affair. The forgiveness came decades ago. Bottom line. Find it in your heart to forgive your sister. You have a niece or nephew to love. And, your ex was going to cheat on you with someone if he was going to cheat on you with your SISTER! He’s a dog!

Yeah, throw the whole fam damnly in the trash!! SHE was the one in the wrong so why tf are YOU being asked to accommodate?? They SHOULD be siding with you and freezing her out until/if you forgive her OR at best, keeping a relationship with each of you separately.
