I got there thinking we were going to have some good training to immediately realizing this dude is trying to kill me 😂🤣 Little did we know we would become literal family members! I’ve always been so amazed when I see clips like this. They remind me of a real life Karate Kid. While I have trained when I was younger up until last year, I’ve always admired how strong the will of people can be. This woman enlisted in a training program at a Shaolin temple, this is as tough and as real as it gets, each crushing blow is felt, the intense training is what keeps them whole and unaffected. This is the kind of training that turns people into warriors. The age old traditional ways have molded some of the fiercest fighters of the world, could you withstand this training? I guess the better question would be, could you handle this kind of backbreaking training?

But the economic impact seems to be dramatically behind. There is [a possible] explanation. Back when people were doing pre-training, the question of what data to train on was answered, because that answer was everything. So you don't have to think if it's going to be this data or that data. When people do RL training, they say, 'Okay, we want to have this kind of RL training for this thing and that kind of RL training for that thing.' You say, 'Hey, I would love our model to do really well when we release it. I want the evals to look great. What would be RL training that could help on this task?' If you combine this with generalization of the models actually being inadequate, that has the potential to explain a lot of what we are seeing, this disconnect between eval performance and actual real-world performance"

For many in the 06th Army Reserve Potential Officers course, it was a day they felt would never arrive! But it did, congrats to all on successful completion of training and on receiving your commissions! A proud day for all, the class were joined by family, friends and the public for the ceremony in the Defence Forces Training centre in the Curragh. Over the course of their training they have completed numerous military, tactical, physical and academic challenges as they trained to become the newest leaders of the Óglaigh na hÉireann. The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Seán Clancy said: "Today, as you receive your commissions, you embark on a remarkable path of service to the nation. The opportunities before you are boundless - opportunities to lead, to build on the excellent training you have received, and to serve and contribute to Óglaigh na hÉireann with integrity. You have been entrusted to uphold our values by wearing our uniform and carrying the responsibility that this brings, which I am confident you will do with pride and dedication. He wanted us to be sharp, but he also understood that you cannot train at maximum intensity every single day. “He would constantly monitor how we were feeling, how much we had played and how our bodies were responding. There was a lot of focus on recovery and making sure we were fresh for matches. “With Iraola, the intensity is completely different.
