What’s stops you from gaming like this?

3 full seconds of input lag? Bluetooth controller + projector lag.

Projector was free pick up on Craigslist. Playing on real SNES through s-video. Eventually fixed the tilt. 😊

HELL THE FUCK YEAH. If your able to see if you can find someway to get a filter that puts a crt filter on (I couldn’t find the really good video but this will show you what I mean)

My Epson projector has an option to change the image so it could correct this. It would even correct it if you were projecting at the ceiling corner of the room! And, it's automatic whenever you move it whilst it's powered on!

yup this one does same. once i tilted it down off of the ceiling, it snapped into perfect square. pretty cool feature.

I was actually surprised that latency wasn’t much of a factor when I tried it with a SNES.

This is the worst projector placement I've ever seen.

Nice! How’s latency? I see lots of comments here in this post mentioning it. Felt fine on my projector but so far only tried with a SNES through S-video.

Been using the Epson Powerlite 107 for console gaming for the past 5 years or so, never had a problem with latency. I’ve heard a lot about latency with projectors, but I have never experienced it myself, even with a crappy $50 one from Wish back in the day 🤣

Probably the fact that the projection is wall + cieling haha

I prefer AR glasses, it’s like a private projector for my eyes - and it doesn’t require a surface and has crisp OLED and no noticeable latency. Projectors are still neat though.

Input delay. Projectors draw too much power compared to a monitor let alone a big tv. It’s decent for movies and watching shows. Gaming? Yeah if you play a game that requires at least a reasonable amount of reaction time your fucked…

The angle is atrocious, splitting the image on a wall and ceiling is terrible, and the colors being way too bright because you left the light on.. I would do anything to NOT game like this
