Yeah she is pretty clueless, there have been just a plethora of money scams over the past decades that are based on never actually seeing the person you are supposedly falling in love with. Works like a charm, the only reason it doesn't happen more often is the scam aspect scaring people away. So this puts a much heavier burden on real relationships to prove that they are superior because in many cases they are not.
