Before the second jet hit a lot of people thought it might be an accident. I watched this live on CNN. It was shocking then and it still is now.

When she says. “They did it on purpose” my heart breaks

At this point no one knew what was going to happen next. We didn't know if this was the last of it, or if this was one of many more to come. The uncertainty of what happens next was the craziest part.

I think this video hits the hardest out of all the ones I’ve seen. Many of us just thought the first one could’ve been an accident until the 2nd plane. Her emotions and screaming sum up pretty much what all of us were thinking and doing at that moment. 😥

The only thing that makes me angrier than the attacks is hearing women get hysterical and scream.

We went from hearing that a smaller commuter plane had accidentally crashed into one of the towers to knowing with 100% certainty that we were under attack in an instant. And we didn't know what was coming next. It stayed like that for days and weeks.

The way that plane came outta nowhere big as fuck was scary as hell

The terror immediately after the second plane hit. The fear that other planes were going to do the same to more sky scrapers. People fled their high rise apartment and office buildings. Horrific day

The way it just flies straight into the building is so fucking scary

This clip defined the day for me. Was at work, went up to the break room after someone said someone mistakenly flew a plane into the WTC. By the time I got up there this had just happened. No more thoughts of mistakes.

Thank God for the brave women that day. Their screams saved thousands 🙏

At that time people were thinking its some kind of Aeroplane accident. But when second one happened then they thought how that can be happen

Conspiracy theorists will claim there were no planes and the people in this video were paid actors. Insane. There are so many videos of the second plane's impact and they're all consistent. Still horrifying to this day.

A third of Americans were babies or weren’t born when 9/11 happened. I guarantee many of the stupid conspiracy theories and comments criticizing honest reactions to this horror, are coming from them. This was a horrific day for all of us who witnessed and lived through it.

The plane almost missed the building; imagine if it did and then just crashed into a street in Manhattan.

This was all of our collective reaction watching it on TV or on the streets in NYC btw. “They did it on purpose.” Still makes me want to throw up watching this 25 years later.

That was the shocking instant everyone knew. No one needed analysis. It went from hopefully a bad accident, to open war in the heart of our greatest city. It was terrifying.

The second plane seen here hit the South Tower at 9:03AM. That was 6:03AM Pacific Time and 8:03AM Central Time. I remember thinking watching this live that planes would fly into landmarks all over the US. The fear, anger, sadness, shock—words cannot describe the feeling/terror
