Love it, He knows when to use a gun & when not to, He showed up to court & took accountability protecting his brothers… He could have not showed up to court to face the judge ( which is a very hard thing to do especially for the first time ) he was not out to rob someone but he took accountability & stood respectfully in front of the Judge.. Sounds like a young man becoming a good man… Much Respect to him..

See, that’s some bullshii, defending himself and others from a lunatic and he is the one in court. Good for the Judge, Lawyer and kid.

If he was indeed protecting his brothers from an armed assailant there is no question to be answered. It's open and shut. Anyone talking about what he may or may not do in the future brings new meaning to the phrase Minority Report. That said, you have to confiscate the gun.

He was defending his brother and I’m not saying what he did was right but his brother could have died that day. I’m bout to listen to the whole thing but I hope the judge let him off or a warning.

This judge yelled at a white kid for looking like he just came from the beach while in court for a fake license. But loves the sob story of a black kid with an illegal gun. Very jewish

So send a violent criminal back on the street because the cops didn't do a proper search. Perfect

Underage black boy with a gun shooting at people. He's probably going to die in the streets, from either his actions, or his "need" to have a gun for protection. Safest place might actually be in jail. Get back is a thing

Honestly, walk free. Should he have had the gun to begin with? Probably not. But he did, and he used it to defend others. I’d much rather see him use it to protect others rather than use it to harm others for no reason.

All you haters need to chill. This guy is a kid still. This is a good experience of what court is like, and he will probably be inspired to stay in school. That lawyer showed up because he knew this was an easy money case, imagine the kid going to law school instead of the system

It's perfect... The judge gets it from one angle, and the lawyer gets it from another... What part of "shall not be infringed" do people not get?

Everyone has a right to defend themselves and others. Thank God there are still constitutional government officials somewhere.

Whether he was engaged in self defense has no bearing on probable cause

Eliminate immunity. Hold the judge and lawyer accountable for the time. Do your job. You might think you are doing a good deed but if the person commits a crime in the future. The judge and lawyer go to jail and they can be sued by the victims.

Amen! Should always take the constitution in to account before any trial. Should uphold it, and consider why someone brandished a weapon. It all matters! Praise this judge, and 💯 on constitutional oath upheld!

No way did he buy it for $150 (probably stole it out of a car or bought it from someone else who stole it), but that's beside the point. The kid bought the gun originally to rob someone most likely. Come on, man

How is it unlawful to arrest a minor with an illegal firearm. What would be the point of having any gun laws?

Shouldn’t have been charged to begin with, he was protecting his brothers from being robbed. Good on the judge and attorney for stepping up.
