If the gun cant handle being handled, then it cant handle being shot. Abuse your guns people, if a part breaks then replace it. Weapons have small explosions going off, if it can do that, then you can spin the cylinder of your revolver, drop the slide on your 1911 on a empty chamber. The only rule is dont dry fire a .22. But other than that go ham dry firing and shit, just remember your rules of gun safety.

Why own a revolver if you're not doing that? If your revolver can't handle that, get a Glock.

you might like this

Its a tool, use the tool however you want, and when it breaks, fix the tool or buy a new one. Simple as that

That’s hard on the gun and that asshole is an idiot

My opinion? This is some Fudd ragebait right here, that's my opinion. 😉

I don't know about 'springing the cylinder', they're pretty tough, but you can burr up the cylinder lock and that might cause issues with cylinder/barrel alignment. Hollywood gun safety resulted in the Rust shooting, so they're probably not the best example.

If my revolver can't ha die that then I don't want it

Don’t let @hickok45 see that.

That destroys the star that cycles the barrel. The timing of the action is going to be misaligned and causing a catastrophic failure. Possibly the loss of a finger or eye.

That will bend the cylinder rod and cause shaving of lead projectiles when fired. It can get worse. This is not smart.
