An 80 yr old woman delivered my groceries, I saw her pull up and went out to help. It’s hot 112°. I gave her a Gatorade and I always tip well so I added a few more bucks. I’m unable to drive and I appreciate the delivery but man that was so sad. She was limping.

I'm 68, of the so-called Jones Generation. My first recession indicator was right out of HS. Dad was in the AF, we were stationed in Germany, I passed the driving test, he bought me a used car so I could get a job, but I couldn't go much of anywhere besides work because gas was rationed. Been in the States since '76, been thru recession after recession, bubbles bursting, crashes and so on... I used to be a liberal. Now I'm a socialist itching for communism. When asked what "radicalized" me I say I was radicalized by Obama, the Drone/Bailout President, and educated by Marx.
