We watched statues torn down, our history erased, and many wondered if America was losing sight of who we are. But 250 years ago, it seemed hopeless then, too. Our Founders were a ragtag band of patriots standing against the most powerful empire in the world. They endured defeat, sacrifice, and impossible odds. Yet they refused the easy path of submission or compromise because they believed liberty was worth fighting for. These statues are a reminder that America's story is worth preserving, our history is worth honoring, and the ideals our Founders fought for are worth defending.
