When a camera went missing during a shoot in the Arctic circle, the AP crew found it among sled dogs they'd been filming with earlier. A dog had taken it and had also hit record.

Me when I’m just a sneaky little guy

A dog as a filmmaker? What a pawsitively wild story!

Here's a man on a mission. Godspeed to the goodest of boys. 🫡

Forget outtakes the dog footage might be the only clip people actually watch.

In the dogs defense: If not toy, why toy shaped? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A pup with a talent for filmmaking? Talk about a "paw-some" discovery!

POV: the sled dog is a better documentary filmmaker than half of us. 😂 What’s the wildest “accidental” footage you’ve ever captured on a lost-and-found device?

I’ve taken thousands of photos of my dog. If he gets wind of this story it’s all over

Only in the Arctic. Leave it to a sled dog to capture the action in its own way. That is one memorable shot they will never forget.

Literally best work yall have ever done.

DOGS bro! I adore them!!!!!!!!

@dog_rates Does this count as a very good, or very bad, dog?

@dog_rates 10/10 photojournalist and a sled dog. amazing.

Typical husky behavior.

"Very expensive chew toy" Isn't it lovely (≧▽≦)

@RussellFosterTX I love this!

Thank you correspondent Keira Slightly for that riveting report.

Such a good boy or girl; just so proud of his catch

puppies will be puppies...

i’d see this movie (dog cut)

Guess that dog wanted to make its own documentary - "Paws of the Arctic" coming soon!

AP’s Funniest Home Videos 🤣

@dog_rates this is at least a 12/10

Smart dog!

That dog didn’t just take the camera it made its own documentary.

@TheGoldenRatio4 Has the Nugget tried this yet?

Funny story. Glad you found it. That dog loved its prize. :)

Probably a lie and set up

@dog_rates it’s the POV dog

"Never have found it again" under a sled. Cmon

@PamelaKeogh 🤣🤣🤣

Smart dog. Lol.

What a rascal! 😂😂😂

Copy pup!
