Jason Kidd doubled down on not knowing about the Luka Doncic trade until right before it went down, and was asked if he was fine with not knowing until the end: “Ya, I’m an employee of the Mavs.” When asked if he wants any say on how the roster is constructed: I think I’ve said this before, I’m the coach. This goes to show you never know who your real friends are and to never let your guard down. This young boy thought he was out having fun with friends and ended up finding out they aren’t his friends at all. I’ve had plenty of friends throughout the years that I thought was my best friends. The second things went wrong they turned on me. Even other friends who were previously cool with me turned on me because their friend had an issue. This is why I always teach my children that they can only depend on us and each other. Keep your friends close but be wary and question their motives sometimes too. Nobody is ever 100 percent on your side. Sometimes it takes more than others but most people have a breaking point when it comes to loyalty. Have you ever had a friend betray you like this?I think they intended for him to be harmed and that is never okay.

A lot of learning and a whole lot of growing up… but anyways when I think about it, all I can think about is how I owe every single one of yall that stuck with me and had my back through that really low point in my life… the BIGGEST thank you… SO THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU. my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. NOW ITS TIME TO TALK ABOUT THE REAL WORK! Some people who paint their self to be perfect & happy on social media are the farthest from it. Those who are truly happy, don’t have to paint the picture! It’s either you see it or you don’t. I never been one to fold under pressure but when I stopped seeing ME and only saw instagram likes and comments when I looked in the mirror, I started folding like Sunday Laundry fresh out the dryer. As human, we’re not supposed to be privy to so many opinions or eyes on us. And while I don’t have it ALL figured out, I can say that I have SOME of it and what I figured out is that Life is so much easier when you stop caring about the validation of others, and that’s including family. The pressure is invisible and when you let go of it, your true personality comes out and you can finally heal. You will NEVER heal by trying to live up to others standards. I know soooooooo many people including celebrities, content creators and normal every day folks who are also dealing with all of what I’ve been talking about, but are so afraid to be vulnerable, ask for help or share their story. and I totally understand why. BUT I’M NOT! Im not afraid anymore And I’m gonna speak up for all of those who probably can’t find their voice right now to be honest and say “hey im not okay”.
