A few days ago, I wrote here that there appeared to be an agenda against Alaafin Owoade. Little did I know that it went far beyond him. There is now a deliberate attempt to discredit the legacy of Alaafin Adeyemi III, an effort which, in the words of Ibikunle Ogunsina, seeks to paint him as a dubious character, rubbish his commitment to inclusiveness, and distort not only Oyo history but Yoruba history as a whole. Oyo is now being described as a “dead empire,” yet many Yoruba kings insist on the title Imperial Majesty despite there being no historical evidence that their domains ever constituted an empire. Oyo is no longer an empire; it is a town. But it carries the remnants and weight of a historically significant empire, one that stands as proof that Africans were capable of greatness, expansion, and sophisticated governance, contrary to what external forces that invaded and disrupted our history would have us believe. The Oyo Empire is good reference that Yoruba was once the dominant power in West Africa, stretching from the Niger River to the Atlantic coast in present-day Nigeria and Benin, covering over 150,000 square kilometers. Glorifying Oyo’s history does not diminish other Yoruba communities. A significant portion of Yoruba history is preserved in the journey of the Alaafin institution itself, shaped by lessons from Oranyan, Sango, Basorun Gaa, Aole, Atiba etc. Oyo had the greatest empire among Yoruba-speaking people and played a central role in promoting Yoruba civilization. Ife is our source and the cradle of Yoruba civilization. Ibadan preserved that civilization from the aggression of the Fulani jihad. The Egbas, Awori, Ede, Ogbomoso and other Yoruba speaking people all contributed to what is Yoruba history today. Discrediting any of these towns is, ultimately, a distortion of our collective Yoruba history. One thing that can never be taken away from my father, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, is his deep love for Yoruba culture and for Oyo. He was a controversial man, yes but he loved his heritage, embraced it fully, and promoted it unapologetically. He wore his culture as a badge of honor. False narratives about him will not stand.

In 1598, when Shah Abbas decided to move the capital of his Persian empire from the northwestern city of Qazvin to the central city of Isfahan, he initiated what would become one of the greatest programs in Persian history; the complete remaking of this ancient city. I didn't fully trust Andrew Bridgen when I first saw him speak out in Parliament against the bioweapon, not because of him personally but because he had two little letters after his name: M.P. What I have seen him do since then, and after I studied his previous achievements with his constituency and with the Post Office scandal, makes me incredibly proud as an Englishman. In this often emotional interview, limited by time to an hour, I hope we find out more about him as a man who has not only stood up for all of us at the most important time in history, but has also had the courage to speak out against the actual enemy of humanity: Satan. From the Viper's Pit to Spiritual Warrior: Andrew Bridgen is someone we should be grateful to have. His position in our history is assured, but the fight is not over yet. Born in independent Ukraine, Klima belongs to a generation that, at a decisive moment in history, took responsibility for the country. In civilian life, he was an outstanding athlete – an absolute world champion in taekwondo. He worked as a coach, teaching children the fundamentals of this martial art – a system of self-development built on discipline, respect for the opponent, and self-control. That philosophy carried over into war. With the start of the full-scale invasion, Klima volunteered for the Territorial Defense Forces and, together with his comrades, became the foundation of the unit now known worldwide as the flagship unmanned systems brigade “Magyar’s Birds.” A natural leader, he set the highest standard through his battlefield results and showed by example how to effectively destroy the enemy. He built the world’s most effective strike UAV team – “Klima Team” – and through his courage, ingenuity, and determination became one of those who fundamentally reshaped the modern battlefield. I tell you, no kingdom of this earth, no rebellion of heart, no blasphemy of tongue can ever tarnish the majesty of the Almighty. His glory is not made by the hands of men, nor is it undone by their defiance. . Consider the arrogance of those who refuse to kneel, who claim that their disbelief can unmake the Creator. They are like madmen in a darkened cell, scratching the word ‘darkness’ upon the walls as though, by their crude mark, they could blot out the sun. But tell me, does the sun diminish because it is unseen by the blind? Does its light falter because a lunatic curses its name? No, my friend. The sun remains, burning with relentless brilliance, giving life to all who dwell beneath it, whether they acknowledge it or not. . So it is with God. His glory is eternal, unshaken by the denial of men. He is the architect of the heavens, the One who breathed life into dust and set the stars upon their courses. His majesty does not depend on our worship, yet it is we who are diminished when we turn away. Winning multiple Premier League titles, FA Cups, League Cups, and especially Champions League trophies is extraordinary. One of the things I admire most about Sir Alex is his ability to rebuild successful teams again and again. Millions of war heroes showed an unmatched patriotism, turning December 16 into an occasion to hold our heads high before the world. Despite global support for the Pakistani army’s war crimes, their supreme sacrifice against the brutal occupational force and their allies known as Razakars (war criminals) will always inspire generations to stand for justice, equality, inclusivity and secularism and safeguard the founding principles that define us as a nation. Five decades later, once again, Bangladesh has been under siege. The proxies of Pakistani occupational forces have been emboldened like never before as the Yunus regime has unleashed a mass murder spree, granted impunity for looting and rape against citizens to erase national identity. Like those harrowing days of 1971, now speaking against atrocities committed by the Pakistan Army is considered a crime, resulting in arbitrary detention and jailing amid total silence from global democracies. Similar to the plights of war heroes, the architect of Independence, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has been considered a traitor by Pakistan backed regime. Chanting joy Bangla slogan has been criminalized. We have seen efforts to alter the very national anthem that inspired millions in the struggle for independence. But history stands as testament that plots to subvert the legacy of war heroes always fell flat.
