When asked how Texas authorities could leave so many campers in danger, not sure Kerrville City Manager suggesting the media is partially to blame for "crying wolf" and "hyping things up" is the best way to handle a press conference.

The county lacked real-time flood sensors, reverse 911 protocols, or sirens, which are common in other Texas counties. This absence of infrastructure hindered timely public notifications. The money was there the question is did they apply for it and if they did was it spent on roads instead.

These people can’t blame Trump because they won’t get the help if they do!!! This country is cooked 💆🏽♂️

Do you remember Uvalde….??The Texas “authorities “ did a lot of pointing fingers every way except at themselves then…. Same BS just different county….

Republicans can ONLY BLAME OTHERS! This strategy starts at the very top! Media is a favorite target along with the handicapped! Texas is a bunch of weak fucks carrying guns!

Is he inadvertently saying city officials didn’t take the warnings seriously?

It’s the media’s fault they slept through or ignored a flash flood warning?

Texas continues its long and proud tradition of NOT PROTECTING ITS CHILDREN!

so it was a “failure” by the forecast or “you can’t predict it” which one is it? pick a struggle

Sadly there's something called science and if text spent less time trying to ban and burn books, this would not have happened. And my heart goes out to the families harmed by GOP leadership in Texas.

JUST GET THE REST OUT NOW. I saw the Boy Scouts ran into an issue this AM, waking up with water all around them and I was like wait, what? There are still camps open? If they do not self-close…close them down. Kids NEED to be with their families in times like this. Not camping. Not right now. Not when rescues are taking place in a 100-150 mile radius. Not an operation this large. We don’t need more victims.
