when DePIN teams start protocol design, the public tooling & foundational literature available to them is scarce, esp when compared to verticals like DeFi. to close that gap, we built an interactive tool to get a pulse check on any DePIN network design & test new features quickly

the widget works by translating a dynamical system into a simulation, allowing us to track the evolution of the system over time. you can set the inputs, tweak parameters, and test out entirely different designs in a few seconds. Try turning the token burn to 100% to emulate Burn-and-Mint, tweaking the max mint to control inflation, or setting the macro conditions to measure the robustness of your design to exogenous factors.

what can this widget tell me? for starters, it can not predict wen token go up. The metrics we display are often ratios or “fundamental” values – token price, for example, is a combination of net token flows and some macro bias. we steered clear of attempting to model actual token price or expected provider inflows, and instead built a model that can help you visualize the causal chains that are triggered when different parameters are changed.

under the hood (which you can check out in the repo), there’s 20+ parameters you can tweak to further customize the model. we tuned most of them to a ‘standard’ set for ease of use in the widget. adding features is also easy to do, and we would love to incorporate community feedback (DMs are open)

try it out here! @VoltCapital

thanks to @spilehchiha for the valuable help and feedback

This is a nice tool. 👍 We will definitely look into it and give it a try.

Will you issue tokens? I think your tool is very interesting.

Can you issue tokens?

bro I need to know what this means. Come someone explain it to me better?
