i think his intentions were there of wanting to “clear his name” but the way he went about making the video as if he was editing a casual video threw me off a ton. videos like these shouldn’t need an entertainment aspect. so odd that he did that

Honestly for an hour long video I’m glad I wasn’t just watching someone with a face cam talk or just a black screen with words, something I could actually sit there and listen to but also have the video playing so it can give me a feel of the situation he’s describing

junkyu’s tmi! he finally finished working on a song that he worked on for over a year & a half yesterday! he didn’t get to finish working on it for over a year & a half, but he did it eventually! instead of feeling burnout, he just thought that he strayed far away naturally from working on a song. it’s not like it’s hate or love, but he naturally have something else to focus on other than composing for over a year & a half. he also mentions that the most fascinating thing is that, as time passes, while making a lot of memories with teumes overseas, there’s a lot of new ideas coming in & he gets to organise his thoughts, instead of always just staying at his house/or being in the space that he’s currently in for a year & a half. recently, he was in his studio for the last 3 weeks since there was a situation where he had no choice but to go back there. he said that he gained a lot of things from that situation & is really thankful for the reality. so when he arrived back in Korea, he wrote everything right away as soon as he got in his studio. when he finally completed one song after a very long time, he thought, “right, this kind of excitement”, “I fell in too deeply when it’s related to composing.”
