Yesterday in Iran: a woman slapped for showing her hair. So recently, outlets like The Economist went to Iran and claimed the country has become “so secular” and that women are now “totally free.” Some Western correspondents are repeating the same narrative. But as Iranians, we need to tell you the truth: Behind every one of these so-called “wow, the Islamic Republic is reforming” moments, there is a woman who was slapped, a woman who was whipped, a woman who was imprisoned, raped, or targeted in an assassination plot beyond Iran’s borders. These are not freedoms the regime gave us.They are the bruises of a nation resisting. Behind every bit of “progress” you casually report on, there is a real Iranian woman paying a heavy price, just like the woman in this video, slapped across the face for refusing forced hijab. And every day, I still receive videos like this in my DMs. Every. Single. Day.

emotions running high right now.... nothing i say will truly encapsulate the feeling, so i'm only left with gratitude. these past two years have been life-changing, so many new friends made, so much art created, i think i will look back to this moment when i'm much older and consider it the beginning of the best era of my life. with the present is now concluded, i can start focusing on the future, and i couldn't be more excited. not only for the work that is to come, but to create it in the company of the core, the loyal group of folks who believed in my vision and had made kept the dream alive. from the bottom of my heart. thank you 🖤

I'm laying in my tent reflecting on my life right now..and I have to say, some would say my life situation of being homeless is a sad thing .. because you see people out there who are addicts and in bad situations .. but mine isn't anything like that. Although I havent had a home in 10 years, I see and feel the blessing. I'm so free in life to live how I want in life. Sure while sometimes I desire a bed to come home too.. I get to have a bed anywhere in life I want. I'm so free to live and explore as I please with nothing to tie me down. If I could share any piece of advice, it is simple do not trade your freedom of life for the chains of society and what they deem how YOU should live. I promise in this day and age you can be so free and make money without anyone there to tell you when to clock in, when to eat lunch, when you can use the bathroom, none of that! I hope you all find the bliss I feel in life someday.

No more watching the sunset with you on the deck. No more patrolling the perimeter. No more trips to the beach. No more sitting and staring and waiting for me to finish work. No more bounding in the snow. No more uncontrolled tail-wagging when it is time for a walk. No more sleeping at the foot of my bed. No more sniffing my face in the early morning to see if I’m awake. No more barking at the doorbell. No more chasing squirrels and rabbits (and bears!). No more scratching your belly. No more runs with with my buddy. 🔥 My opinion on Harbhajan Singh 👇 First he slapped Sreesanth, then kept saying in the media that he feels guilty. When Sreesanth forgave him and even called him his big brother, I thought the chapter was closed. But years later, for money and attention, that same slap incident was used in an ad again - disrespecting Sreesanth all over again. 🤦‍♂️ When Sreesanth replied on Lallantop podcast that if Harbhajan really wants money, come to the ring and fight, Bhajji came back with another video to grab the spotlight. 👀 I have rarely seen such hypocrisy. And this is not the first time - he has been doing similar things around MS Dhoni for years just to stay in the limelight. 🎭

Doing vision work is direct nervous system work Most people’s ocular muscles, jaw, and face are chronically tight from stress, screens, trauma, and survival mode. Rolling the eyes (bringing the eyes to end range in an upward position), stretching the face, opening the jaw, and releasing tension patterns helps improve circulation, relax’s the nervous system, sharpens focus, and improves vision over time. If you can bring your eyes to their end range and look as high as you can in the most painful spot, a lot will align for you! Good things will happen :) Untie your knots!

WELL I was assaulted by a schizo homeless guy today in Toronto. I was walking to the grocery store when he started stalking me. I tried to get away from him but it didn’t work. He grabbed me, pinned me against a fence, and then tried to break my hand to steal my phone. Three people passing by helped save me. The police were quick and kind, but the officer I spoke with told me this guy had been arrested for attacking people repeatedly in the past month, and “fair warning, a judge will probably let him out by tomorrow morning.” 🫠 lovely system we got goin on here folks

In a world of crazy sport schedules, specialization and constant skill work, often times BASIC physical development is left to the wayside. When working with MS and HS kids, I do my best to work in things that don’t “look like s&c training” on purpose. It’s generally in our warm ups and on top of gaining mobility and working on skills, it’s fun. Yes lifting is important and vital. But so is basic level floor work and “gymnastics” work. Learning to fall, roll, cartwheels, move on the ground not only aid in mobility + reducing injuries but build a SOLID base of movement literacy. The younger we do these things and more often we do them the better. Remember… getting stronger is easier than getting more athletic.

24 hours from the Knicks in the NBA Finals... a moment I've been waiting for my whole life. Flipped through my footage from the magical Game 4 in Cleveland. Found this gem of a video Even up by 27 in the 4th, Jalen Brunson is still yelling at the team to stay locked in. Pointing at his eyes. Refusing to chill. Demanding they keep the foot on the gas. Life update 👀 Today is my last day Webflow. I'm beyond proud of the work I did during my 3 years here, everything from designing & building Webflow University, helping create designs & visuals for our course lessons, making tons of illustrations for our keynotes, contributing to the new logo + rebrand & new designer UI last year, early explorations of AI in the product, and so much more. I truly leveled up my design/dev/illustration skills over the past few years, a big part in thanks to Sara Lundberg & McGuire Brannon constantly pushing me & my work, as well as getting to work along side of some of the most talented people I've ever met. I'm definitely going to miss my coworkers, but I'm also excited to explore some new projects I've been wanting to start. Here's a look back of just some of my favorite work I did at Webflow (but there's so much more I wish I could show 😉)

Excuse me for breaking the wall and sharing personal🤟 I just turned 40, which brought about a wave of reflection, and I'm incredibly lucky. I make my morning commute like most, grind at a desk until 5, then I flip roles to becoming a podcaster, a writer, a coach, a husband, and a dad. Life is moving at warp speed. I'm not rested, but I'm not tired. I'm not polished, but I'm not giving up. I'm not content, but I AM happy. The support and friendships I’ve found in this space have genuinely made my life better. This road, where passion meets persistence, has been paved by so many of you, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. I hope I’ve come across as someone reliable. Someone who isn’t afraid to put in the work to keep improving. Someone who cares, connects with people, and takes this seriously. I’ve always wanted to blur the lines between the person giving out golf picks on YouTube and the guy who simply wants the best for his family. At the end of the day, both are me. We took my son to his first concert. A random person took this video of us, found my wife, and sent this. As life enters the second half, this is how I want to be remembered. Unbothered by embarrassment, just going for it with the people I love, and on the forever pursuit of happiness 🏁 People told me slow my role...
