"He showed that solving real problems with creativity can change lives." He also showed that the prosthetic industry is bullshit, just like the rest of our bullshit capitalist system.

This angle of Montez Ford using a fan’s prosthetic leg for a weapon during SmackDown

A father’s joy as his daughter feels the sensation of walking for the first time on a machine built by him

Looks like he was a few millimeters away from needing some prosthetic fingers as well.

Some fathers will do anything for their daughters' happiness ❤️

Bro used his ultimate move on him 😭😭

Healthcare so expensive people are literally speed-running engineering degrees 💀

Living proof that orange cats are just younger siblings in fur coats 😂🐱

This guy make art of Mr. Potato Head on his amputated leg

While it's incredible he was able to make his own prosthetic, it's also important to realize he used thousands of $ worth of specialized equipment & his own workshop to do it. Not saying he shouldn't have made his own leg, I'm saying most ppl who need a prosthetic would still-

I hope he used pressure treated lumber and galvanized hardware or that thing is going to rot and rust in no time

Thousands and thousands of dollars worth of tools in a fully wood custom workshop. Why can't people just be truthful, I wanted a custom cook leg so I simply made it using my things.

And because it's made from wood, that makes him a legit pirate 🏴☠️🦜

He's got those tools & can't afford 20k? Yeah I think he just wanted to make a video & have a challenge. Which is fine but let's not lie.

They can cost at low as around 5000. Meanwhile this bootleg leg was made in well made workshop that probably costed way more than the leg, and was made by someone who most likely had years of woodworking experience under his belt. What he did was far from "free".

He can afford 20k in machining equipment though right?

When life nerfs you but you start crafting legendary gear instead.

👏👏👏👏👏

Talented

Can't imagine how he lost a foot, watching this..

This man makes a wooden leg for himself.

That is pretty damn awesome.

I don’t mean to be that guy but here is a man that has his own wood workshop, with all the equipment, tools and lumber. I’m not saying his is filthy rich but most people aren’t going to be able to just have all that on hand aka have that as an option.

nigga made a peg

Reverse engineering Pinocchio.

When the doc hits you with a $20k bill but you're like "nah, pass the chainsaw" – now he's out here biking circles around us all 🚲🪚 Absolute legend energy! 💯

Heroe

So he made a peg leg and upgraded it a little.

A leg that Hiccup would be proud of!

Necessity leads to inventiom

Nice $30K wood shop.

This is 🧢
