i kept catching myself hunched over my desk like a shrimp so i made an app about it Shrimping uses the motion sensors in your AirPods to track your posture. there's a little shrimp that curls in real time to match how bad your posture is. if you hit full shrimp mode you get a notification. it also has: -runs in the background. start a session and forget about it - hourly/weekly/yearly posture stats - home screen widgets to check your stats at a glance - apple watch companion app (log it or snooze right from your wrist) - adjustable sensitivity so reaching for coffee doesn't count built it in swift, all data stays on your device on the app store now →

Ok, my mind is blown with Replit Agents. I started using it because I was bored on a train ride a couple of days ago. So today I tried to build a Trello clone and build a fully functional app in like 45 mins. I showed it to a few people in the office and the guy is like "I should quit my job." He built a stock tracking app in 2 mins and added a few features he wanted. I can't imagine the world being the same in 10 years if software writing could be supercharged like this. Replit has really hit it out of the park. I don't need ChatGPT now. I'll just build apps in Replit. I'm a fan and a convert.

I can't lose weight for the life of me. I'm frustrated. I know food is the most important when trying to lose weight, but tracking macros is such a chore. So, I built a mobile app with Rork to help me track all my meals. Similar to CalAI. I can take or upload a picture with my food, and the app tells me the: - calories - carbs - protein - fat + a detailed analysis. Pretty cool, huh!?

Today I vibe-coded a small but incredibly useful macOS Electron app using Cursor + GPT-5.5. I use my Mac with a Samsung monitor that has a built-in webcam. Every time I used the camera, I noticed annoying light flickering. I always assumed it was my lighting. It turns out the culprit was the anti-flicker setting. The webcam was set to 60 Hz by default, while India's power frequency is 50 Hz. That mismatch causes visible flickering under indoor lighting. Samsung doesn't provide any way to change this on the monitor, and macOS doesn't have a built-in control for it either. So I asked Cursor to build a simple camera control app that lets me change the webcam's hardware settings, including the anti-flicker mode, along with zoom, brightness, contrast, and more. About 30 minutes and a few rounds of refinement later, I had a fully working Electron app. A tiny app, but it solved something that had been annoying me for months.

So I fought on street beefs because I couldn’t figure out any other way to get eyes on my product. 1 year later, I found Rork spent almost 0 on marketing and built the biggest the combat sports app on the market.
