This is one of the best testimonials of what Democrats have turned California into that I’ve heard “I can't live in California anymore. I'm a social worker with a master's degree, a single mom, and I can't afford to live here — I'll start by saying that most of my life, I've lived in Southern California. I grew up low income, and it's never been pleasant. The homelessness, it's heartbreaking, and it's been getting worse and worse and worse. It's hard to see people laying out on the street, drugged out, just passed out in the heat and the cold. It's inhumane. It's so heartbreaking, especially for children to see it. It's also really hard to not feel safe, to not be able to walk down the street, to not be able to take your child to the park. It's horrible.
