When I was showcasing the Tokon Skin In Marvel's Spider-Man 2 I started yapping about swinging in Spider-Man Games. What would the "perfect" Web Swinging in one of these games even look like? People would say SM2 on the PS2, but even then that's shown its age a little.

Spider-Man 2’s web swinging started as a prototype for the previous Spider-Man game. The idea was shelved because the first game was already too far into development to completely change its core swinging system. They brought it back for Spider-Man 2, and it became legendary

What’s your preference, old-school physics-based web swinging or Insomniac’s cinematic style?? Older Spider-Man games (like Spider-Man 2 & Web of Shadows) had more satisfying player expression through realistic momentum & physics, but could look and feel janky. Insomniac’s games look better but feel restrictive, and sometimes jarring, in comparison 🤔 #SpiderMan #Gaming

I just realized that you can use the Axiom Force as a Spider-Man style web swinging if you add the infinite stamina mod in Crimson Desert lmao

the true definition of “spider-man is real” type shit. the fact that they shot this web swinging sequence with no cgi and full on practical use in the 90’s is just pretty creative for a spider-man fan film.

What do you mean that a linear game with zero traversal depth, like Wolverine, has a dozen traversal challenges, but Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has none of that despite being an open world game with decent web-swinging depth… What the fuck is your problem, Insomniac Games??!

Kirsten Dunst says the pay gap between her and Tobey Maguire during the Spider-Man trilogy was “very extreme.” “The pay disparity...was very extreme… I didn’t even think about it. I was just like, ‘Oh yeah, Tobey is playing Spider-Man.’” But by the sequel, her perspective had shifted. “You know who was on the cover of the second ‘Spider-Man’ poster? Spider-Man and ME.”

I love how smooth Miles tricks to swing transitions feels compared to Peter’s. After doing mid-air tricks, Miles flows right back into swinging seamlessly, while Peter’s transitions feels stiffer. I wish insomniac focus more on Peter swinging and add more features. I want them to add these in next games - Wall Run while descending - Climbing web mid-swing like in the Raimi Movies - Make low to the ground swinging feel more impactful and immersive There’s still lot that can be improved gameplay wise. But I know Insomniac will cook with Spider-Man 3.

MrBeast reveals the Spider-Man voice actor works for him "Less than 10% of the world speaks English, so 90% of the world can't even enjoy your content. And when I realized that I was like wait a minute, 90% of the world can't even watch this stuff." "In Spanish the guy who does my dubs is the same guy who dubs Spider-Man. We managed to convince him. So a lot of those comments are like, why does he sound like Spider-Man? Or is MrBeast Spider-Man?" "What we do is when we go into these markets, we get celebrities to do my voice. So then the local people in the language freak out. Japan's coming up, and I can't say who, but we secured a giant voice actor from an anime to do my dubs, and whenever we launch in Japan, I know they're going to lose their freaking minds."

Tom Holland says his original Spider-Man pitch was far creepier than the final movie "I pitched this idea called Spider-puberty." "It completely died in the room." "I wanted to explore what happens when Spider-Man keeps developing new powers. He gets stronger, faster, and his senses become almost too powerful." "Then I started throwing out crazier ideas." "What if he grew fangs out of his hands? At one point he even had venom spikes." "We explored nightmare scenes where he wakes up as the Man-Spider." "Then we all realized we still wanted children to enjoy the movie. It was a little too creepy."

INTERVIEW DRAMA🚨: Sadie Sink talks about Tom Holland with so much love, does she have a secret crush on him? Interviewer: what do you think about Tom that makes him the perfect Spiderman? Sadie Sink: I mean, I just think he's the perfect Spider-Man, in my opinion! He was the first Spider-Man that I ever saw, Homecoming was like the first Spider-Man movie I ever watched. I think he's just a perfect embodiment of Peter Parker. And also, how he carries himself on and off set is just... it's amazing."

Xbox Activision’s back catalogue also includes some beloved Spider-Man games such as • Web Of Shadows • Shattered Dimensions • Edge Of Time These being heavily licensed games it would be tough… But wouldn’t it be cool if they were brought back, even if it were a Collection
