Tomorrow is Tax Freedom Day. That’s the day when the average family, has fulfilled its tax obligations, and paid all the taxes to the government. In other words, if you had to pay all the taxes, owed to all levels of government, upfront, you would be free of all taxes on June 9, and the rest of your earnings for the rest of the year, would be yours to keep. Essentially, the average family has worked for the government for nearly 6 months. So tomorrow, June 9th, is what’s known as Tax Freedom Day, marking the first day you keep what you earn. The Fraser Institute did a study & found that 43.5% of the average Canadian family’s income goes to taxes. And that’s before the $113 billion in deficits the federal and provincial governments are running this year. If you add those in, and the real Tax Freedom Day is June 25, meaning, you work for the government two weeks longer before you get to keep what you’ve earned.

Wow….What a week! We would like to take the opportunity to thank each volunteer who have helped us achieve what we have the past 4 home games and also everyone who has helped at the club too. We would like to thank every single fan who has got on board, waved flags, ultimately without your buy in, none of this happens. We also appreciate the boss messages we have received. Also thank you to all fans who have brought their own flags and also leaving the flags under the seats to reuse. The 11 girls and lads in the group had a vision & a plan and we luckily enough had money out of the remaining funds to be able to bring it to life. We would love to think that this is just the start. We want next year in our final year at Goodison Park, to be even bigger and better. To be able to make Goodison look as great as it has recently we need more money to achieve this. my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind

The publication date for RED SKY MOURNING has shifted to June 18th! This is a little later than expected as the book became the longest in the series by far. So, the bad news is that it comes out a little later than anticipated but the good news is that you get more James Reece. It is my favorite in the series thus far! I told myself when I started that I would never wrap up a story just because I hit a certain word count or because a deadline was looming. After my interaction with Trekkers: This is what I have gathered from discussion with the group in Dehradun- On the June 3, two trekkers exited the main group and continued forward. They were unaffected by the incident. June 3 morning group of 20 trekkers and guides went from Lambtal camp site to Sahsratal. They were returning to camp. When they were about one and half to two hours away from camp, at 2 pm snowing commenced. By 4 pm, snow intensified into blizzard. By 6 pm 2 trekkers succumbed to bad weather. Snow and wind made movement impossible. Visibility dropped to nil. They huddled together for the night on the route. Some more succumbed in the night. Morning of June 4 a guide set off to reach a place where mobile connectivity can be established. In the mean time some of the trekkers who were in a condition to move, started towards the camp around 11 am. The guides came down to the camp and went back with supplies for the stranded trekkers. June 4 evening a guide managed reach a point where phone signal was available and intimated about the situation. Karnataka Mountaineering Association and Indian Mountaineering Federation alerted agencies. Governments of Karnataka and Uttarakhand together initiated preparations June 4 night. Army, Airforce, SDRF and various government agencies and organisation were ready at 5 am June 5 to start the rescue efforts. #Uttarakhand #Trekking

The yellow diamond ring PP: He gave me the ring in the 1st day (of the concert) after the run-through. At first I thought he called me in to discuss about work. But he rather gave me a surprise. He cried when he gave me the ring. I told him no need to buy it since it’s expensive. 🗣️He said he has saved up money his whole life for the ring. PP: He can gain that amount of money by just presenting at an event. He’s so wealthy. You see, how many car he has. He just bought a new car. 🗣️He knew that you wanted this ring. PP: I keep telling him for one and a half month that I want it. So he should get the sense, but I didn’t think that he would really buy it for me. I’ve been wanting yellow diamond for quite awhile. If it would be any colorful one, I would like to have a yellow one. I just want one that isn’t the white (clear) one. The meaning of it (yellow diamond) depends on who is the one giving it - it may mean a good love extending to each other. 🗣️He’s done his homework well. PP: I think so.
