In Parliament today the Prime Minister was challenged about the grooming gangs inquiry. Katie Lam raised three concerns about the proposed terms of reference. The inquiry: 1. Will not examine the role of race or religion in motivating these crimes. 2. Will not lead to officials who covered up the abuse being prosecuted. 3. Will investigate only a select number of cases. The consultation on the inquiry’s terms of reference closes this week. So she asked a simple question. If victims and members of the public submit responses demanding these issues be included, will the government amend the terms of reference? Keir Starmer would not answer. He would not confirm the consultation is genuine. He would not confirm submissions will shape the inquiry. Instead, he changed the subject and attacked the MP asking the question. If the consultation cannot change the terms of reference of the inquiry, the public is entitled to ask what exactly is it for? What did I tell you about the national inquiry being a cover up? Every mainstream outlet covered Tuesday's announcement on the Terms of Reference of the Rape Gang Inquiry as progress. The terms were strengthened. Ethnicity is in scope. The inquiry is real. My analysis goes where that coverage does not. What I have produced is the only forensic examination of what these terms actually compel and what they leave untouched. The Home Office is outside scope. The politicians are beyond reach. The timeline cannot deliver what it promises. The criminal accountability mechanism starts fourteen years after the inquiry's own start date. Jess Phillips admitted in the Commons that she waited fourteen years before anyone acted. She remains unexamined by the terms she helped shape. Dame Antonia Romeo misled parliament about evidence destruction and walks away untouched. IICSA deliberately excluded the towns that mattered most and the Home Office oversaw every year of it. The Home Office and its politicians think they have got away with being part of the National Inquiry. A member of the public called 999 on 1 March. He could see with his own eyes that the building on King Street was not safe. A council surveyor attended the same site, looked at the same cracked brickwork, and decided it was not in immediate danger. Twenty-three days later it collapsed. Five people were injured. Would Andy Burnham’s PROVEN Pakistani Rape Gang protecting Greater Manchester Police care to comment on the accuracy of my information? How about the corrupt politician defending The Oldham Times or the Manchester News MEN? A drugs farm was raided last year on Queens Road. The property belonged to the son of a senior Labour Party politician in the town. I’m talking former mayor, still active, with direct associations with Oldham Council leadership. In the conduct of their investigation, a property was raided and substantial amounts of cash was found. Tens of thousands. Fast forward a year, no charges have been brought. The case has disappeared. My sources in the community believe the case disappeared not only because of who was being investigated, but because very senior politicians in the town, reliant on a cartel controlled block vote, intervened and applied pressure. Whatever the truth of it, the raiding of a property belonging to a powerful Pakistani Labour Party family should have made the news. My thought: This is just another example of a corrupt town where the police are partners with the Pakistani politicians that run the town. And these Pakistani politicians, time and time again, have direct family links with dangerous organised crime groups that run the drugs operations. Did You Know That The Rape Gang Inquiry Cannot Touch Keir Starmer? The consultation summary report for the Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs was published in March 2026. It runs to 39 pages. Buried inside it is a structural decision that will define what this inquiry will not deliver. The Crown Prosecution Service is named as an institution subject to examination in section 4.6.3. That section governs local investigations, the geographically bounded inquiries into specific towns and cities where grooming gangs operated. Police forces are on that list. Local authorities. The CPS. The national review strand is separate. It is supposed to examine systemic failure and the structures that allowed abuse to continue for decades. The CPS does not appear in it. There is no mandate for a national examination of charging policy or prosecutorial decision-making during the years the gangs operated. After branding concerns of the gang rape of little White girls 'a far right bandwagon', Keir Starmer was forced to commission this inquiry in response to Baroness Casey's national audit. His Home Secretary published the draft terms of reference in December 2025. The final terms were agreed on 31 March 2026. Starmer was Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013. Those years sit squarely within the period when grooming gang prosecutions were mishandled and victims were failed by the system meant to protect them. The questions go beyond any single town. A national answer would require examining how charging decisions were made at the top of the CPS and who made them. Starmer would have to account for his record under compulsion. By placing the CPS inside the local investigation framework, that cannot happen. Longfield's panel can examine what the CPS did in Rochdale. What the DPP decided in London is beyond their reach. The man who decided what charges grooming gang suspects would face commissioned an inquiry that will not examine how those decisions were made. ISIS Returnees Are Back in Britain. The Government Won't Say If They're Locked Up. Ben Obese-Jecty stood in the House of Commons this week and asked whether individuals with links to Islamic State, recently brought back to Britain from al-Roj detention camp in northeastern Syria, were taken into custody on arrival. The Government refused to answer him. Al-Roj is a holding site in Kurdish-controlled northeastern Syria, home to thousands of people connected to ISIS fighters since the military collapse of the caliphate. Kurdish authorities have warned Western governments repeatedly that they cannot hold foreign detainees indefinitely. So the UK government has quietly began repatriating UK national ISIS fighters. When jihadists with known ties to a proscribed terrorist organisation land on British soil, the public expects a straight explanation of what powers were used to make sure the British public are protected. Operation Beaconport Is Not What They Are Telling You It Is The government is presenting Operation Beaconport as the mechanism that will hold individuals criminally accountable for the rape gang scandal. The NCA leads it. It has statutory powers and it is being described as the prosecution pathway that every previous review deliberately avoided providing. Read what it actually covers. Beaconport reviews cases where police and the Crown Prosecution Service took no further action. It was built to reopen dropped prosecutions against perpetrators. The officers, politicians, and council leaders whose decisions allowed those perpetrators to operate are outside its scope entirely. The national inquiry goes back to 1996. Beaconport starts in 2010. Fourteen years of abuse sits in that gap. The inquiry will examine that period. Beaconport has already told the public it cannot. Beaconport has begun reviewing cases. What it found were investigations closed without proper process, suspects not interviewed, victim accounts not properly recorded, lines of inquiry identified and abandoned.
