Sora animates with this wonderful wonky, sketchy dreamlike quality that perfectly captures the nostalgic atmosphere of a hazy 90's suburban summer afternoon. While Seedance is just as sophisticated and in some aspects superior, I will miss the quality of Sora. Sora feels like 35mm film, with the nuanced way it captures lighting, color, and perspective, while Seedance feels digital - a bit too clean. I am confident that I can replicate this sketchy quality in Seedance by tweaking my prompts, but Sora has a unique way of animating that really should be preserved. There are many more bugs and mistakes with Sora, but when it gets it right, it REALLY hits a level of artful magic that sets it above all other models. I am shocked that I still appear to be the only person who is creating AI-Generated 2D animation with original characters while developing a unique Western style. Practically no one is doing 2D AI-animation at all, and when they do, it is usually an attempt to mimic an Anime style. 2D really should be attempted more by AI Filmmakers!! Especially with a Western model like Sora, before it is terminated in the fall. Really, everyone should be taking advantage of the way this model so skillfully animates, with the heart and soul of a seasoned professional. I personally feel AI-generated animation is superior to 3D/realistic AI filmmaking. While AI-generated realism is an attempt to mimic real life through a lens, 2D animation IS what it is - not a replica of anything, just a cartoon. I love all my AI filmmaker bros and all of the cutting edge work going on, but I urge all of you to give 2D animation a chance. : ) I'm still not giving up hope that we can save Sora somehow. Now that I see that Seedance is able to animate 2D brilliantly and beautifully, I know that it's not some hidden secret, and we can replicate the weights and maths of Sora. If we can't preserve Sora, we can make a comparable model. It's not just in the interest of AI-Animators like me to preserve this model, but in the interest of the entire American AI community if they want Western AI to be superior. If not, Chinese video models will dominate. And while I am perfectly happy to use a Chinese model and I am just eternally grateful that this technology exists at all, I would love to see American audiovisual models continue to be developed! #AIAnimation #AIFilmmaking #AIArt #SaveSora #SummerofSora #WillStancilShow Elon Musk Marc Andreessen 🇺🇸 Sora Bill Peebles NVIDIA Sam Altman

For generative AI to become an interesting art tool, we need much more control over the output. The slot-machine-like nature of pure text-to-image leaves too much to chance. Using the "Real-time Latent Consistency Model" that I'm using in the example here, is the first time I truly got a glimpse of a future where we'll be able to use our artistic skills and sensibility, to get control over AI image gen. Systems like these will never be able to match the quality or originality of a skilled artist, it won't surprise us in the same way an artist can. Things are a mess in terms of the training data these models are based on, and the questions about copyright concerns and about a time when everything will look the same are very valid. At some point capabilities like these will be embedded in photoshop, and anyone will be able to generate a pretty picture. But to create interesting designs, to tell original stories and to surprise us, we need creatives and artists with something on their mind. We'll be able to create immersive worlds, by making brush-strokes and sculpt marks, without needing to worry about all the dials, plugins, wires of our 3d and 2d tools today. I love to sculpt, I love to draw, and I love to explore new mediums and new ways to create. The Gen AI tools we have today are far from perfect, and things need to be steered in a better direction. For that we need artists to help point the way. Gen AI isn't going away.. it's too powerful and has the potential to allow us to tell stories like never before. Like all other big technological shifts, tech like this will come at a cost, but it will also open up new opportunities and empower a new generation of storytellers. I might be naive, but I believe that human ingenuity and creativity will persevere in this new world ♥️ #art #ai

How many AI agents work at your company? We now have over 3,258 agents working alongside 1,300 humans. The crazy part is these agents were created by EVERY EMPLOYEE at our company... sales reps, marketers, customer support, product, eng. Literally EVERYONE. BUT I'm most surprised by the adoption and value that MANAGERS are getting from agents. I used to think that every IC would become a manager of agents. Now I think that managers will very likely manage WAY more agents than their ICs combined. And managers' agents will manage their ICs' agents - overseeing them for human-in-the-loop interactions. When creating agents, we use 100% context from all of your activity, files edited, tasks and projects worked on, hierarchy, skills, and role information. We build a user-based context model to make agents as relatable as possible to the specific human that we're building for. This means they truly understand the nuances of the work and what "great" looks like - because great is very much in the eye of the beholder. Great is by definition, subjective. This is also why the human ENGAGEMENT loops are SO vital to agent value. The iteration AFTER the agent is onboarded is where the MAGIC happens. This is just like a manager managing an IC in real life... you're giving feedback. In this case, though, agents learn INSTANTLY, and they retain the knowledge perfectly and indefinitely. Even though I've been pushing AI for years now to everyone in our company, this was the first time we had truly end-to-end AI adoption and retention. This kind of AI adoption is wild. But the value we're realizing is truly INSANE. Super Agents outnumber our humans nearly 3 to 1. What if you could 3X your workforce overnight? Watch this video to see how 👇

44% of Gen Z employees are secretly destroying their company's AI systems from the inside. They're literally poisoning the data, faking the results, and making AI look like it doesn't work. This new survey of 2,400 workers by Writer and Workplace Intelligence is genuinely unbelievable... 29% of ALL employees admit to actively sabotaging their company's AI strategy. Among Gen Z workers? 44%. Nearly HALF. What they're doing: - Feeding proprietary company data into public AI tools on purpose - Tampering with performance reviews to make AI look like it's underperforming - Deliberately generating garbage output so leadership thinks the technology is broken - Refusing training - Refusing to log in - Some are even manipulating analytics dashboards to HIDE any productivity gains AI actually delivers They have a name for it too: FOBO. Fear Of Becoming Obsolete. And it honestly makes complete sense when you look at what their CEOs are telling them. Palantir's CEO stood on a stage at Davos in January and said "AI will destroy humanities jobs." Direct quote. Then added "You're effed." Anthropic's CEO said AI could eliminate HALF of all entry-level white-collar jobs. Microsoft's AI chief said ALL white-collar work could be automated within 18 months. These aren't random Twitter predictions. These are the CEOs of the companies BUILDING the AI. Telling the workforce directly that they're about to be replaced. Then those same companies turn around and say "please adopt this tool that's going to take your job." And they're genuinely confused when employees fight back. The data gets even worse though: 60% of executives say they're considering FIRING employees who refuse to adopt AI. 77% say they'll block promotions for anyone who resists. Accenture is literally monitoring weekly AI login data to decide who gets promoted. Meanwhile the job market for the people being told to "adapt or die" looks like this: - Entry-level software postings dropped from 43% to 28% since 2023 - 43% of US graduates aged 22 to 27 are underemployed - 60% of entry-level jobs now require 3+ years of experience - 80,000 tech workers have been laid off in 2026 alone AI was the LEADING cause of job cuts in March 2026 for the first time in recorded history. So the math is simple: CEOs are telling workers AI will replace them. Then demanding they use it. Then threatening to fire them if they don't. All while the job market outside is collapsing. And they wonder why 44% of Gen Z is burning it from the inside. But here's the part that surprised me the most: 75% of the executives in the same survey admitted their company's AI strategy is "more for show than a meaningful guide to outcomes." 3 out of 4 companies don't even HAVE a real AI strategy. They're forcing adoption of tools they don't understand. For strategies they haven't built. While threatening the livelihoods of people who see through the entire charade. 54% of executives also said AI is "tearing their company apart." Well... no shit. This is the first organized sabotage campaign against a technology in modern corporate history. The last time workers systematically destroyed the machines threatening their jobs was the Luddite movement in 1811. Factory workers smashing textile looms across England. History books treated them like idiots. Turns out they were 200 years early. The only difference is that today's sabotage is invisible. Corrupted data, faked metrics, and an entire generation quietly making sure the robots don't work. And the craziest part is that the executives threatening to fire them are the same ones who can't tell the AI is being sabotaged. Because they don't understand the technology either.
