This has prompted many people to ask: If using or portraying Hindu religious symbols in films is considered disrespectful, shouldn't the same standard apply when similar imagery is used during political events? The debate isn't just about one film or one political event—it's about consistency. If respect for faith is the principle, then many believe that principle should apply equally, regardless of who is involved. Ultimately, the discussion is about whether public figures, political parties, filmmakers, and everyone should follow the same standards of religious sentiments? But, nationalist mockery of Hinduism is acceptable. Anti nationalist mockery of Hinduism is not. Hinduism for BJP is a fancy dress competition. It is a circus act. It is performative activism. It is a SHOW OFF. THEY do not care about Hindu sentiments. They do not care about how the portrayal of Hindu gods will look like for them. Everything is about a big performance. When the same thing was done in the movie PK by Amir Khan, there the IT cell would create a uproar and object. But here, at a procession for the national president Nitin Nabin, everything is alright because nationalist mockery of Hindu Gods is acceptable but anti nationalist mockery of Hindu Gods is not.show more

It belonged to all of us, even those of us who weren't Hindu. We had our own religions, our own prayers, but that moral code was shared. It was in the air we breathed. This is what is being hollowed out. Not just a religion, a common inheritance. That Sunday morning feeling. The idea that there is such a thing as good, and that it wins. Hindutva has taken that and replaced it with a truck, thousands of men, and women performing a sexual dance. This is Hindutva's deep perversion. It has taken a civilization's religious life and turned it into a mob spectacle. It has taken its political language and soaked it in rape. It has handed teenage girls a rape anthem and called it a dance. The slur is not a slip. The procession is not spontaneous. The choreography is not innocent. What is being built, across platforms, campaign rallies, and now religious processions is a political vocabulary where your opponent is not defeated but penetrated, where the enemy is not wrong but he is a Gan*u. When language and ritual are both sexualized to this degree, something specific happens to the people inside it: they stop seeing clearly. The violence stops feeling like violence. The degradation stops feeling like degradation. The opponent becomes pest. The procession becomes devotion. The rape joke becomes a rally cry. This is what the normalization is for. The filth is the mechanism. Run it long enough, from the Chief Minister's mouth to the temple truck to the religious procession, and an entire society quietly crosses a threshold it can never name, only feel. This is not Hinduism. This is Hindutva in it's ugliest form. And it's all connected.

When History Warns Us, We Must Not Ignore It We never expected the Chief Minister of Keralam to take such a position under any circumstances. But on this issue, we need to look back at history. Because the people of Keralam have every right to ask: whose political pressure is behind this decision of the Chief Minister? When we examine the history of Vande Mataram, one thing becomes clear. This is not a political issue that emerged yesterday. During India’s freedom struggle, Vande Mataram became a symbol of national consciousness and the spirit of freedom for millions of Indians. The Muslim League was formed in 1906. During the 1930s, opposition to certain portions of Vande Mataram became increasingly prominent among sections of Muslim political leadership, including the Muslim League. In 1937, the Congress moved towards adopting the first two stanzas of Vande Mataram for official occasions. This remains an important episode in our history. But one thing must be made absolutely clear. This is not an allegation against the Muslim community. Many Muslims participated wholeheartedly in India’s freedom struggle and sang Vande Mataram as part of the national movement. Therefore, today’s debate is not against any religion. It is a debate about political positions concerning nationalism. But history also raises another important question. In 1937, political opposition emerged over the use of Vande Mataram. Subsequently, the politics demanding the partition of India became stronger, and ultimately, in 1947, the country was divided. That is why, when in 2026 a position is being taken in Keralam that Vande Mataram need not be sung, a natural question arises: Where will such political compromises take us? What will the state of Keralam’s national consciousness be ten years from now? If we begin making political compromises over one national symbol today, what will prevent similar compromises on other national symbols tomorrow? That is the question Keralam needs to debate today. We have even witnessed situations where a teacher faced serious consequences merely because a question about Veer Savarkar was included in a quiz competition. When a historical figure, an idea, or a national song becomes subject to political pressure, it should concern every democratic society. That is why the BJP is bringing Muhammad Ali Jinnah into this discussion today. This is not a discussion about one individual. It is not a discussion about one religion. Nor is it a discussion against any community. It is a discussion about the future of nationalism. If we want to ensure that history does not repeat itself, we must learn from history. Those who say today that Vande Mataram need not be sung—who can guarantee that tomorrow they will not question another national symbol? If we continue surrendering our national values to political pressure, what we ultimately stand to lose will not merely be the words of a song—it will be our sense of national unity. Therefore, our message to the Chief Minister of Keralam is very clear: Do not surrender nationalism to political pressure. No one needs anyone’s permission to sing Vande Mataram in Keralam. Every Indian has the right to embrace this national song, which inspired the freedom struggle of our country. Even if you do not sing it, Keralam will sing it. Even if you exclude it from government programmes, the BJP will ensure that Vande Mataram and the National Anthem are sung across Keralam. Because the Bharatiya Janata Party will stand at the forefront to protect the national consciousness of this land. As long as Narendra Modi leads this country, we will not allow politics opposed to India’s unity and integrity to take root on this soil. There will be no compromise on nationalism in Keralam. When history warns us, we must not ignore it. We must learn from history. We must not allow history to repeat itself. Is this your brand of secularism? Hiding behind a secular mask only to launch targeted attacks on Hindu beliefs completely exposes your true colours. The DMK has practiced this exact same anti-Hindu politics for decades. If your party is continuing the same, what makes you any different from the DMK? Sanatana Dharma is an ancient and eternal way of life that has withstood many attacks. Politicians who try to destroy it will disappear, but no one can ever touch Sanatana. Himanta has openly accepted that Hindus, the very community BJP claims to be the custodians and protectors of, form the lion's share of deletions under SIR. And his response to that admission? He called it a "little sacrifice." Was it a little sacrifice when lakhs of Hindu Bengalis were thrown into detention camps in Assam under BJP's watch? Was it a little sacrifice when legitimate Hindu citizens were served NRC notices by Foreigners Tribunals? Was it a little sacrifice when genuine Hindu voters were forced into humiliating queues and then erased from the electoral rolls? Look at these faces. Remember these names. And remember how they betrayed the very people they claimed to protect. Your vote on 29th April is a decision about whether you live on this land with pride and dignity, or face detention and deportation at the hands of those who call your erasure a minor inconvenience. Delusional? When Religion Is Mocked for Politics The recent remarks made by the U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth Pete Hegseth are deeply inflammatory and deserving of serious criticism. While addressing Iran’s nuclear issue, he referred to Islamic prophecies as “delusional.” Such language is not only disrespectful to millions of Muslims worldwide, but it also dangerously shifts what is presented as a political and strategic matter into the realm of religious confrontation. If the U.S. position toward Iran is truly grounded in national security and geopolitical considerations, then invoking and mocking religious beliefs undermines that claim. Introducing theology into a political conflict exposes bias and damages credibility. It sends a troubling signal that the issue is not purely strategic, but ideologically charged. Now compare it with the statement of US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee few weeks ago when in an interview with Tucker Carlson , he expressed that Israel has a divine right to whole of Middle east from the Nile river in Egypt to Euphrates in Iraq, and "it would be fine if they take it all" as it has been promised in Genesis 15 to the descendants of Abraham. One must ask: if someone were to describe those biblical prophecies as “delusional,” would that not immediately be condemned as offensive or even antisemitic? Respect for faith cannot be selective. Even while defining "delusion" in terms of psychiatry, they exclude religious beliefs. Transforming a geopolitical conflict into a theological or ideological struggle is reckless and dangerous. It deepens divisions, fuels resentment, and risks escalating tensions far beyond diplomatic or strategic boundaries. Political disputes must remain political; once they are framed as religious battles, the consequences become far more volatile. Such statements deserve clear condemnation from Muslim leaders and from all those who believe in equal respect for religious traditions. They started with 50. Now they say they’re 18,000 In 1996 there were fewer than 50 of them. Today, according to the organizers, up to 18,000 walked through Copenhagen. From Dronning Louises Bro to the Imam Ali Mosque. Look at the curve. This is how it happens. First a handful. Then a few hundred. Then it fills a bridge, a district, a capital. A little at a time, until it is no longer a little. And let me be fair, because fairness is the point. There is nothing strange about them holding this mourning procession. They have done it as part of their faith for more than a thousand years. It is theirs, and they believe in it. There is nothing strange about that at all. What should stop us is the other half. There is nothing strange about Europe allowing it either, and that is exactly the problem. Europe allows it because Europe has forgotten who it is. A people that remembers what it stands for does not need to ban anything, it simply knows where its own line runs. We have lost that. And so the issue was never them. The issue is us. Now look at what actually moved through the streets. Men in front. Women in the second row. That is not a detail, that is the whole point. It is a view of women set into a system and marched out into the public square, in a city where generations fought for women and men to stand as equals. The real question is not whether people may believe what they want. They may. The question is why our capital should cultivate a political law-religion that commemorates a 7th-century power struggle by dividing people by sex on Nørrebrogade. There is nothing strange about Europe allowing it either, and that is exactly the problem. Europe allows it because Europe has forgotten who it is. A people that remembers what it stands for does not need to ban anything, it simply knows where its own line runs. We have lost that. And so the issue was never them. The issue is us. Now look at what actually moved through the streets. Men in front. Women in the second row. That is not a detail, that is the whole point. It is a view of women set into a system and marched out into the public square, in a city where generations fought for women and men to stand as equals. The real question is not whether people may believe what they want. They may. The question is why our capital should cultivate a political law-religion that commemorates a 7th-century power struggle by dividing people by sex on Nørrebrogade. Today a group of Muslims prayed next to the Ministry of Defence, facing the Iraq and Afghanistan memorial. As I have said before, choosing to pray in this way in public is a political act. It is a social statement and, yes, it is an act of domination. Anybody who understands Islamism understands that the domination of public spaces is part of the modus operandi. It is done so Islamists can show who is in charge - and to show other Muslims and the wider public that the authorities will bend to their will. There is quite obviously no need to pray here. The decision to do so is symbolic and pointed. It is not welcome. We have freedom of religion in this country, which is why there are mosques. But we are not a Muslim country and this is not welcome. It should be stopped.

I strongly condemn the brutal and unjustified lathi charge on our Hindu brothers who were peacefully protesting at the sacred Matha Muthyallamma Temple in Secunderabad. It is deeply disturbing that when our religious sentiments are attacked and idols desecrated, we are not even allowed to raise our voices in a peaceful manner. The real question is: who ordered this lathi charge? Those responsible for desecrating the temple should be facing action, not the devotees who seek justice. Why is it that Hindus are always taken for granted? This is a clear example of the Congress party's appeasement politics, where the concerns of the majority are consistently ignored. We demand accountability and justice for this attack on our faith, and we will not be silenced.

If it were a once-in-a-million-years meteor impact that caused a reset, they would have said so. But it is not. It is the Geophysical Event... They will never confirm the event because of “national security.” They need you to keep working and grinding as if everything is going to be okay until things become unbearable. Then they will retreat into their bunkers, and you will be left alone...
