A philosopher in the fourth century BC, insisting he was recording true history passed down from a people who kept ancient records, said that a great land was destroyed by floods roughly 11,600 years ago. The popular version of the Atlantis story fixates on the submergence, the island going under in a single catastrophic day and night. But if you actually go back and read what Plato wrote, the account is more layered than that, and the details that get glossed over are precisely the ones worth examining. There was a war before any of this happened. A civilization based outside the Straits of Hercules had been pushing inward, subjugating the peoples of the Mediterranean. What Plato describes as proto-Athenians organized a resistance, drove the Atlanteans back, and it was only in the immediate aftermath of that conflict that the geological catastrophe occurred. Here is the detail almost everybody misses. Plato does not describe the subsidence of Atlantis in isolation. He ties it directly to a severe erosional episode on the Greek peninsula itself, a landscape-scale stripping of soil and vegetation that left the bedrock exposed. If you have a catastrophic subsidence event in one location and a severe erosional event in another happening simultaneously, you are not looking at something localized. You are looking at a broad regional disturbance, and that description maps considerably more naturally onto the Younger Dryas impact hypothesis than onto any conventional tectonic explanation.

Less than 700 years ago those casing stones were still on the Great Pyramid. Think about what that means. If you were crossing the desert in the 1300s and you looked out toward Giza, what you would have seen was not the stepped, weathered structure that tourists photograph today. You would have seen a smooth, seamless white surface, enormous, rising out of the sand like something that had no business being there. That is gone now, stripped away, and what was exposed underneath is where things get interesting. The conventional dating puts construction somewhere between 4,500 and 4,600 years ago, Old Kingdom Egypt, and that has been the accepted position for a long time. But the erosion patterns on those now-exposed inner stones are raising some uncomfortable questions about whether that date holds up. Erosion takes time, and the character of what you see on those surfaces is difficult to square with a 4,500 year timeline. It is the same question that has been asked about the Sphinx enclosure, and the methodology is identical. You go to the geology, you look at what the rock is actually telling you, and you ask whether the standard historical account is consistent with what you are seeing. In this case, there is a growing body of evidence suggesting the answer to that question is no.

“What did you think of Lando being booed at race because people and I've seen it online as well say he doesn't deserve the title because McLaren favored him over his teammate. Do you think that's total nonsense?” Jacques Villeneuve: “That's a little bit ridiculous. When there was some booing in some races, that was embarrassing. You should never boo a driver that's clean, doesn't do anything dirty, on track is respectful, and on top of it is super fast. What's wrong with people? That was embarrassing. So there's this whole middle of the season where Piastri was driving a lot better than Norris and was getting the points. Norris had an engine blowing up, not Piastri. And so those fans, they don't look at that either. You have to look at the whole picture, at the whole season. And suddenly if your favorite is starting to go backwards, you just got to bite the bullet and accept it. Your favorite is just going backwards. That doesn't mean that the other one is treated better or the other one is undeserving just because the one you're a fan of is not winning right now. That’s really wrong. If you're a fan of the sport, then you have to be a fan of the sport and understand when your driver is maybe not cutting it at this point in time, even though he was before and he will in the future again. It's all a question of timing. But that's the price we have to pay now with social media and how big F1 has become. It's very passionate. This is a long tweet - but its worth a read - Reform UK’s Dr David Bull talking about family and whether parents should stay at home to look after their children: “You want to support marriage through the tax system and make it easier for parents to stay at home to look after their children - what's the reason behind that?” Dr David Bull: We believe that children do better in stable relationships across the board. And actually we need to encourage that. In marriage you think? Dr Bull: In marriage, and that marriage is an important bond, isn't it? Because I think what children desperately need is someone at home, and they need someone to be there and support them during that education. So we think that's a cornerstone, actually. And one of the things that I find really strange and very difficult to understand is the disconnect that children now have, because when you come home, you want to be able to offload what's been going on at school, and you need someone at home to be able to do that. And if we can incentivise that through tax breaks that has to be a good thing. Do you think if you're a child with two working parents, that's not a great upbringing for you? Dr Bull: No… Of course, it's incredibly difficult. And parents have to work because of the cost of living. But actually, the ideal would be to have a parent that is there available when children need them. You say in the manifesto that the majority of mothers would choose to stay at home more if they could. What's the research on that? Dr Bull: So we polled extensively, actually. But I think if you talk to any mother, of course, they want to spend time with their children. They want to see them grow and develop. And if you're spending all your time at work and you don't have enough time with your kids, I think that's a travesty. You think it's a travesty? Dr Bull: yes And do you think it damages the children as well? Dr Bull: I think emotionally, children need support as they grow and develop. There are lots of questions they have. 🚨#BREAKING - MARITIME LAW - Ok, this is epic, and it will blow your mind, if you don't even know it. Those who are awake will know. That's great and this is what we should share. So, your birth certificate is where it all begins. This is where much of the corruption begins. The moment you sign your BC, it is Maritime law. You are actually signing a form that classifies you as dead at sea. You become a commodity of the system and honestly you Google it, you research it and you probably have to be fair like I said, but it's true. You become um... In a sense, they seize all the assets and go into what they call a trust fund and then you have 6 years to declare yourself alive. Declare yourself still here and then you can regain your sovereignty. But we didn't know that. It was a system they had set up so that you and I and everyone else were traded like cattle on the stock market. So each of us has a trust fund. And depending on how old you are, it depends on how much money is there. So if you're over 50 or something, you've got millions in there because that's how long we've been traded for. And this is another thing that is also crazy. That's why the mortgage system is absolutely ruined. So when you go for a mortgage, you basically sign the papers and they always tell you, "come back in 3 days and we'll have the money." They then take that money out of their trust fund to pay for the house. So, that comes out of your trust fund in your name, which has been growing since you were born. They then charge you interest on your money, but they don't care about the monetary side. They want the house. So if you miss a payment, they'll miss out immediately, because they can repossess your house. For them the house is a commodity, an asset.
