There’s an even more nefarious purpose. The UN now being used by Azerba*jan to showcase their “humanitarianism” & “tolerance” for the remaining few hundred Armen*ans in Arts*kh. Then they will use this to pressure 🇦🇲 to “reciprocate” with “resettling IDPs” from 🇦🇿 in Sy*nik.

The U.N. is a mafia organization. The only difference is the scale of their operations. The U.N. is complicit in this. @UN, You are charlatans, liars, and genocidal criminals. Neither Armenians nor history will forget.

There’s one reason only UN wants to be there now to record everything is still standing like churches and cultural sites. Because they know that in few weeks there reliable partner Aliyev will demolish and destroy everything.

Azerbaijan was asking the UN to send a mission for 30 years, and the UN never came when the region was under the Armenian occupation. They did not even bother to check the compliance of Armenia with 4 UNSC resolutions. But finally they came, when the conflict is over

They appeared to ensure that no #Armenians were left and the #EthnicCleansing cleansing caused by #Azerbaijan and the complicity of the #UN and the #UE was a success.

During a Q&A session today, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan was questioned by Artsakh journalist Anna Mekunts about the future of Artsakh Armenians and his choice of terminology when referring to the region. Mekunts asked Simonyan when she and others could return to their homeland, Artsakh. “When it is safe,” Simonyan responded. She then pressed him on why he refers to the region as “Karabakh” instead of Artsakh. “Don’t you say ‘Karabakh’? Don’t you say that ‘we are Karabakhtsis, Karabakh Armenians’?” Simonyan retorted. “I am a politician, and I oppose any foreign citizen calling one of my cities by a Turkish or Azerbaijani name. I must uphold a politician’s ethics.” When reminded that he had previously called it Artsakh, Simonyan admitted, “I was making a mistake.” The exchange escalated when Simonyan accused the people of Artsakh of not staying and fighting during Azerbaijan’s September 2023 attack. “When you left, it wasn’t safe. But you could have stayed and fought to the end. Yet, you left,” he said, repeatedly insisting, “You should have fought.” His comments sparked immediate backlash, given the overwhelming military disparity and the mass displacement of over 100,000 Artsakh Armenians following Azerbaijan’s full-scale assault. Notably, on September 23, 2020—just days before the Second Artsakh War—Simonyan, then an MP, posted a photo on Facebook with the caption: “Berkaber Artsakh. Aknan (now under Azerbaijani occupation) is my homeland…” His remarks today raise further questions about the Armenian government’s stance on Artsakh’s future and its accountability for the region’s loss.

On May 18, 1992, Armenian forces successfully liberated the strategically vital city of Berdzor, establishing a critical link between Armenia and Artsakh. This victory opened the Berdzor Humanitarian Corridor and marked the beginning of the broader liberation of the Kashatagh District. Following the liberation of Shushi on May 13, Armenian forces regrouped near the village of Zarasli, located between Shushi and Berdzor. The area saw a significant deployment of armored units and troops. During this period, contact with Berdzor was lost, and key infrastructure—including the local hospital, school, and government building—was destroyed. On May 17, Armenian forces successfully repelled a major Azerbaijani assault toward Shushi, which involved around 1,000 soldiers, 20 tanks, and various other armored vehicles. The following day, on May 18, the Minister of Defense Vazgen Sargsyan reported that the road to Artsakh was open. In the aftermath, the Berdzor Humanitarian Corridor became a vital route for transporting essential supplies—such as food, fuel, and medicine—from Armenia to Artsakh. However, on December 3, 2022, a group of Azerbaijanis blocked this critical lifeline, known as the Lachin Corridor, under the false pretense of environmental concerns. The road was reopened after more than three hours of negotiations involving Russian peacekeeping forces. Just days later, on December 12, 2022, individuals claiming to be environmental activists obstructed the Shushi-Karin Tak section of the Stepanakert-Goris highway, effectively severing the only route for humanitarian aid to reach Artsakh and its people. On April 23, 2023, Azerbaijani forces escalated tensions further by installing a checkpoint near the Hakari Bridge, tightening control over access to Artsakh. Tragically, on September 19, 2023, following renewed Azerbaijani military aggression, the entire Armenian population of Artsakh was forcibly displaced in an act of ethnic cleansing. But our story does not end here. We will return.
