Pumping women with heavy doses of testosterone is not the "humane" thing to do either. Anyone familiar with the effects of hormone replacement knows it's also not humane for the rest of us.

Agree, they are living and trying to cope in a destabilized reality. Affirming confusion is absolutely the wrong tack to take. Mental health intervention needs to be provided and minors should not be able to make or have made for them life long surgical and or chemical physical alterations.
