@chris_kammy It's odd, because I don't drink anywhere near as much as I used to but I now recognise that when I do get drunk it is the only time I don't feel anxious. Just about various adult life and whether I am doing right by my wife and children and can pay bills etc.

It was great to be back at Loftus Road QPR FC supporting @drinkaware's Drinking Check campaign to get more of us checking how much we're drinking more often and talking more openly about it. Personally, I'm comfortable with my relationship with alcohol. I enjoy a drink now and then, but it's all in moderation. While I've never struggled with alcohol myself, I've been there to support friends who have. Men's health, especially mental health, is something I am passionate about. That's why I'm sharing my experiences to enourage you to talk more openly and to take a moment to check how much you're drinking.
