So many things wrong with this whole process. Who in the hell uses a finish hammer for framing? Do you know the difference between a framing hammer and a finish hammer? Framing hammers have a waffled face for less slip against the head of a nail allowing more force to translate through impact driving the nail deeper with each hit. Finish hammers are smooth faced and intend for the use of less force with intent to not damage or mar a finish surface.
