When the B-side is as iconic as the A-side
26 Comments

Spoilt by the distortion; it sounds better in the White album.

Paul's recovered Hofner bass on screen.

10 seconds in, George says "John's mic is Shit!"

@NicoleBdorf I’ll Get You isn’t iconic, but an amazing b-side

Which Beatles song isn't?

I bought the 45rpm at Kresge in the Westland Mall, 1968.

They had a handful of these!!

My favourite track!! Love the shooby doo wop’s ✌️❤️

I honestly think that Revolution being the B-side helped Hey Jude be the best-selling Beatles single.

Revolution is the better song.

@grok Make Mysteries Great Again

Incredible song

Yes!

Terrific song

Absolutely! And what is nice is that both songs are perfect works of brilliance while remaining mainstream – vs. the Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields Forever and Hello Goodbye/I Am the Walrus singles which had two extremes (deep/artsy + pop/sugary) on the two sides. Shoo-be-do-wop!!!

いつ聴いても心高鳴る♫ ええわぁ あっ、めーさめた

❤️❤️❤️❤️

🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

John microphone feels like this:

Revolution

God they were good

Who knew flipping the record could feel like discovering a hidden treasure—still as timeless as the hit!

🤩

Si hablamos de Rock de calidad, Revolution es infinitamente mejor que Hey Jude. Quitando Helter Skelter, MacCartney solo hace baladitas ridículas y sencillas. Nada de Rock con Paul….

The best godly guys ever on Earth 🌎

Especially with The Beatles, some of their B sides were better than the A sides, I thought 👍
