My phone started blowing up! Athletes, coaches, business leaders sending me pictures from the Pat McAfee on espn saying Pat and Grandpa Paul are talking about me right now. What!? How!? I didn’t watch the segment until later that night. Turns out they were wondering what’s it like to coach the coaches and who’s the guy that does it. I’m not going to lie. It was cool that they were sharing what I’ve been doing for 20 years, mostly behind the scenes, helping public leaders with meaningful private conversations. I can’t share what is said during those meetings but I can share the methodology and process behind them. Pat said he wants to get me on the show and I would definitely join him to share how it all works!

This is What Real America Still Looks Like! 53 Veterans Get the Welcome They Deserve at Gate 17. Folks, stop what you're doing and watch this. When Southwest announced an Honor Flight with 53 American veterans was pulling up to Gate 17, the whole damn terminal showed up to give them the hero's welcome they earned decades ago. You’ve got Vietnam warriors rolling in wheelchairs, walking with pride, eyes lighting up as regular Americans: moms, dads, kids, travelers stand up and clap like their lives depend on it. Salutes. Smiles. Pure respect. This right here? This is the America I know and love. Not the nonsense you see on the news every day. This is us at our best, remembering who kept us free. Honoring the men who answered the call when it mattered most. These aren't just "old guys in veteran hats." These are legends. They fought for this country when the world needed them. And today, a random airport gate reminded them: We still got your six. Big thanks to Southwest Airlines for making this happen, and to every single person who stood up and clapped. Y’all restored some faith today. To every veteran on that flight and every veteran watching, thank you for your service. We owe you more than we can ever repay. I am actually disgusted by this. I’ve had so many teachers that changed my life and put me in the right path, without them I don’t want to think about where I would be. These teachers are sharing how much money they have in their accounts on the par day. In a society where our teachers are guiding the minds of the future, the people who will be helping us when we are later in life. I don’t think they are appreciated enough nor is the compensation package up to par. It perplexes me how they they have to spend a crazy amount of money for their education, only to struggle to get by with a smile while still being generous enough to pay for the items our children need without being reimbursed for much of it. I think it’s time we create a change, I don’t think it’s fair we expect so much of them and they give so much to us only to relieve so little. I know people are going to argue with me and say well they chose to do it so if they aren’t happy with the pay, they can get another job. While that’s true, we would be in bad shape however if they ever chose to do that. Who would be teaching our kids and preparing them for the future. I think we focus too much on things that aren’t and shouldn’t be our priority while neglecting and overlooking a major issue right below our noses. Their jobs are important and our kids would fail without them so why are we treating them like they aren’t important? It’s because it’s easy for us to think of them as our babysitters for half the day. We treat them like Nannie’s who only watch our kids while we go to work and do things we enjoy. Maybe it’s time we revisit our roles in helping them achieve our goals.
