Can I just tell y'all, anecdotally, that I think your pillow has quite literally cured me of 1-2 afflictions, and is helping me remove 2-4 pharmaceutical products from my life. I've gone full cotton and wool on the bed, and immediately noticed healing. THX! #406Wool

@jockowillink @ORIGINBJJ Oh!!! I would love to see you two unite forces, scale businesses, and perhaps even drive down costs. I am willing to spend more for American-made, quality products, but I know it prevents most average Americans from doing the same.
Oh man - anything they would do with us would hugely benefit us but we wouldn’t be that much help to them. Origin is worth hundreds of millions with incredible connections while we are well.. we just moved out of our basement 😅 We are well on our way, though. But I’m with you - I also would love to see American textile manufacturers unite. We are putting everything we make back into the company to rebuild the American wool industry - and we will be huge one day. One day at a time until then!
@jockowillink @ORIGINBJJ I get that but... I think you may be selling yourself short. They are all about American supply chains. Even if incremental. Keep plugging along! I just discovered you when I saw your tweet earlier.
I do think about how origin started with Jiu-Jitsu Gis. More humble beginnings are always inspiring. The American wool industry needs a lot of help. China really owns the market and it’s really a shame. In time we will get there. Really appreciate the kind words and encouragement!

Just ordered your toddler pillow for myself, I like a smaller pillow and I’ve been using a memory foam travel pillow for the last decade, it gets too hot during the night and causes sweat, hoping this all natural alternative will be perfect for me! I love supporting small USA!

Those are inspirational images and scenery. Drool worthy, speaking of drool, I do that somewhat, on my present down pillow; would @thewoolshire pillows handle it, no problem? Because, I drool.
Haha thank you! Yea we recommend having a pillow cover over the pillow so it’s easier to wash, but drool is fine!
Can farmers ship you wool based on requirements?
Not yet but that will be the plan down the future.

Congrats on the milestones! I had ordered one pillow initially, and after a couple of weeks I ordered another 2 (toddler + regular) and got a hand written note with my delivery. A nice finishing touch!

I don't know how interested you are in processing wool for spinners but my absolute favorite wool processor is retiring and selling her business (in California). TBH I haven't sent her anything in years bc I still have a big stash but I'm sad that she's retiring bc there is simply no one else like her (that I'm aware of). She's able to charge a bit more than others and still have too much demand bc she's particularly good with fine fibers and pin drafting everything so that it's easy and fun to spin. If you're able to spend some time with her and learn directly from her I think that would be amazing. She has no idea I'm writing this and it is a genuine review of her business. I've been to Black Sheep Gathering, Oregon Flock and Fiber, Dixon Lambtown, and whatever the Tennessee one is and have sampled processed fiber from lots of places. Lots of good processors out there for sure but no one like Shari at Morro Fleece Works.

Love that you’re using American wool. Everything we currently use/wear needs to change. Linen & wool typically listed at 5000hz. Wool typically measured between 5,000 to 7,000 Hz. Both fabrics are believed to promote well-being & healing. Love this! @thewoolshire
The best part is when everyone says don’t do it and it can’t be done, you find yourself with ZERO direct competition. The excess rewards only go to those to dare to be different and bold. Obviously there are always other choices out there but not exactly like yours.
