Shutter Island is probably in the second-tier of Leonardo DiCaprio’s collaborations with Martin Scorsese, but this movie truly has its moments, like this flashback sequence. The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve really appreciated the things Scorsese is going for here. Not only that, Leo gives a quality performance in the same year he also starred in Christopher Nolan’s Inception.

I don’t think people talk enough about how perfect this entire scene is. This entire fight scene of Luke Cage taking on an entire gang by himself just shows the raw-grittiness of his character. Probably one of, if not the strongest street level hero in the MCU.
