When you press “Start Self-Driving button while the garage door is closed, FSD v14.1.7 will still start reversing. Before pressing that button, make sure your garage door is open.

FSD V14.1.7 Takes me downtown to see a show with the push of a button. It's absolutely incredible what a Tesla is capable of on V14. This is a ~50 minute drive and it ends in an underground parking garage and it was 100% handled by FSD, all I did was press a button.

FSD V14.3.3 Bug (feature?) You can no longer start FSD with the steering wheel button - you have to press on the screen. Once you’re in drive you can tap the button on the steering wheel to engage FSD though. Not sure if this is intentional or not? Tesla AI

Walk up to the car, open the door. No looking for keys, pressing any key fob buttons, nothing. The car senses your presence. Sit down, car already on and ready. Buckle your seatbelt, start your song, press the blue button. Sit back and relax. That’s it.

How many of us do this? The snow blower is in the garage and the car is in the driveway! When you open the garage door and see this, do you: 1/look to see if the leaf blower is in the garage too? 2/rev up the snowblower and try not to take out your front tires OR 3/Just close the door and wait til spring? 😅

Tesla is finally fixing the bugs in Tesla Full Self-Driving that The Dawn Project identified 2.5 years ago! In Nov 2023 we ran a full-page ad in the New York Times warning Tesla that its self-driving software would ignore Do Not Enter and Road Closed signs. Good news: FSD finally responds to Do Not Enter signs and will make a U-turn or find an alternative route! Bad news: FSD will still blow right past Road Closed signs like they aren't even there. Ashok Elluswamy Tesla AI, good start! Your next assignment is Road Closed signs. Seems like a simple enough problem. Make sure you fix it in the next FSD update. Let us know once that's been done and I'll provide you with your next assignment.
